Great, antagonist dies in the first quarter of the game. What about the rest?
The rest of his family tries to kill us.

That's not true. He survived until the ending that one time...in Goldeneye....back in 1995.

'I wouldn´t mind roleplaying the villian myself tbh'
I like the theory that we're the invaders of the galaxy. I would enjoy a Renegade-type play-through of that scenario.
+1
Would be great to play Space Cortes and use local Andromeda races against a big bad race that stands in the way of human racial interests. Humanity shall expand and prosper in this new galaxy if i have my way.

Exterminatus?
Nah, don't want prime real estate for future generations of humans to go to waste. The Andromedan races that get in our way shall be relocated elsewhere, and the ones that aid us, shall get their own seperate worlds after we've had our pick.

I'm hoping for a villain who has to be outsmarted rather than being defeated in a combat. And by "outsmarted" I don't mean "pick blue or red dialogue in order to convince the bad guy to commit suicide". Something more sophisticated. Gaunter O'Dimm is a perfect example (his riddle wasn't that hard though, but the fact he could stop the time and pull a spoon into your head was... well, at least disturbing). Or even Loghain - by picking right dialogue options, you could defeat him on political level (although you still had to fight with him in a duel). I'm not sure if that would be possible with current dialogue wheel though (especially if they keep ME3 system where Shepard has two option: 1) be polite; 2) be rude; + blue and red variation of these two). Inquisition tried something like this in Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts, but if you always picked middle option, you achieved 100 court approval very quickly.

I liked Master Mirror he was creepy, mysterious and funny at the same time.

We're invading another galaxy. Unless Andromeda really, really, REALLY sucks, WE are the villains.
In which case the character creator had best have the option for a really natty moustache for me to twirl!

What a depressing opinion.
Invasion is such an ugly world.
Should we rather use "exploratory urge" or "colonisation" instead? It worked before and it´s sounding better than "invasion".

Yeah, I'm sure the native peoples of the Americas were much happier with European "colonisation" rather than being invaded.

That´s what I meant.
"Colonisation" is a nice, friendly, sophisticated word, one can hide a lot of atrocities behind it.

Oh no... we are not colonising anything... we just... want to help... the lesser species... to grow! Right?

I liked Master Mirror he was creepy, mysterious and funny at the same time.
Also, his theme music was creepy as hell, especially when those children are singing it! Genuinely unnerving and made him seem like a threat without him actually having to do or say anything.Bioware, take note!

Gods, I love Javik´s teeth.
Why wasn´t he around sooner? Three games and he only appears in one of them. Such a waste.

Frankly I'd call us refugees or even migrant workers, but for all the shooting we'll be doing. Shooting at Andromedons, inevitably. A LOT OF SHOOTING. Possibly at protheans and Asari too, but they're 50,000 years invested now in the galaxy now.
