Can someone from BioWare please comment on what this title update does?  I am NOT going to download the update until I know what it does AND if it's SAFE.  Not after the  problems caused by the Dragon Age: Origins title update on January 13th.  Which, by the way, still has not been remedied.  I'm just thankful I was not affected by that debacle.

Accept that the Zaeed DLC didn't appear on the Cerberus Network for many hours after the title update.  And even if what you say is true I want some kind of a confirmation.

Zaeed is the only changes I can see. Unless you never sign in to xbox live, I doubt you can avoid this update completely.

I can avoid it by not playing until I find out what it does and if it's safe.

The title update does not have anything to do with getting Zaeed (although it is required). The title update fixes an issue with DLC in general where users were getting errors while streaming DLC content into the game (during play).

There arent very many fixes in the update, but this one is important.

It's safe.

Thank you so much!  Not to sound ungrateful, but why did it take so long for any kind of official word on the title update?

Because we're trying to support the rest of the launch :)

So... I'm still on the launch pad. Can I get a countdown to the estimated launch time?

" What's that? The game is out..? Oh yeah, I own it. Why I am not playing it then?"

"They're trying to support the launch, quit trying to play, you'll just screw things up further."

"Sorry."

It's safe! I downloaded it last night and had no problems. People need to stop being so paranoid.

Gee, Bioware can rush in to reassure us that the update is nothing to worry about, but has yet to acknowledge that the Import Utility does not work as advertised after two days of frustrated gamers having to rebuy ME1 to replay the ending. Shows you where their priorities lie - the key word being LIE!

Again, not to sound ungrateful, but personally, I find anything that happenes within the first week or two after day one as part of the "launch".  This title update is IMO part of the launch process, as well as all the bugs, glitches, DLC code woes, ME1 import problems, Cerberus Network errors, etc.  All this required was for someone from BW who reads these boards to send an email to whomever at BW knows what the update was for, wait for a responce while you do whatever it is you do, and then copy and paste the responce with a sticky.  It's not exactly time consuming.  It also decreases the amount of posts you have to sift through to deal with customer complaints and genuine problems because less people will be spamming questions about this particular topic.

I was entering the Cerberus code wrong I guess. I usually have no problem entering codes but for some reason this one gave me invalid error until after the title update, then the code worked. I have no issues now. Works perfect now. Not sure if it's just a coincidence or what, though.

*shrugs*

Thanks for the update, can we expect more explanations of future and previous Title Updates? I'm not expecting full detail, but enough to know what errors have been fixed that cause my play session to not fully line up with my actions from ME1.
