How do I change the mouse sensitivity and turn off acceleration? Changing the ini file causes my game to not start.

I used to play the trilogy religiously on Xbox but the PC version for ME2 just has terrible mouse acceleration and sensitivity. Hopefully ME3 won't be like that.

Hej - go have a look at this:

If you want the ME2 Coalesced Editor get it here from the 'very old Forum site'  :)

Have to use an ini fixer if you edit it manually, or at the least make sure the file has the same number of characters after editing (IIRC).

Is the editor in the old Bioware link easier to use? I gotta say, I miss the old Bioware Social.

For me it is, I don't know Notepad ++ and I only use the ME2Coalesced.Editor

to change these 5 settings - Search for:

1) MouseSensitivity   change to 0.5

2) DoubleClickTime    0.250000 Remove one 0 to 0.25000

3) bEnableMouseSmoothing   change true to false

4) bUseMouseDampening      change to false

5) AccumulationDivisor     change to 600.0f

Save file and start ME2

If your mouse is still too lively, change 1) MouseSensitivity  to 0.1

Save and start ME2 again

Yeah I turned off mouse smoothing and changed my sensitivity and that helped. Thanks.
