I feel like you missed my posts then

I saw it, I just don't agree.

I dislike this notion that desire demons should be based on sexual preference. Desire demons, 90% of the time, are just monsters trying to kill you. The rest of the time, they play on desires for other things. So, whether they're fully-clothed or scantily-clad, why does it matter so much that the demon's base model reflect your tastes? Do all demons change their appearances based on what you makes you feel pride/fear/envy/rage/despair/greed?

And what if I'm bisexual? Should desire demons flip back and forth? What if I feel no sexual desire, or have a peculiar sexual fetish? Should we have a little questionnaire at the start of each game to poll players on their preferences? How many permutations of a single monster are we going to have so that everyone feels catered to?

Because it's basically impossible to make everyone happy, one of three things is going to happen:

1) Bioware sticks to their guns and keeps desire demons as is. (Very unlikely)

2) You never see desire demons again outside of codexes and the odd enemy that's said to be a desire demon but uses another model, as is the case with hunger demons. (Somewhat likely)

3) Desire demons get replaced by a more conventionally frightening monster. (Very likely)

And here I thought that the Desire Demon was developed as eye candy for all the male players. So yes I would like to have a male Desire Demon, since I'm a white woman who would like some eye candy too. Had to romance Dorian with a mod called "Straight Dorian" just to get to see his naked pose, which I assume is pasted on many desktop backgrounds. That was gay, even from a straight point of view. Now don't come back blasting me about a racial comment. Some of my best friends are gay and I had a gay brother. I have nothing against gays, but that was really pushing the 'gay' card. Didn't get any shots like that with any of the other men on the game.

I'm trying to imagine the sad bastard who apparently hasn't heard of Internet porn but is totally willing to pause a video game so he can get his rocks off to purple horned chicks, but the only such scenario I can come up with is some poor pre-teen who's been chained up in his parents' basement all his life with only an XBox 360 and a copy of DAO to maintain his fragile hold on sanity.

Two questions.

1. What is the name of the music that plays when Morrigan and the Inquisitor confront Flemeth in the Fade.

2. Which Inquisitor has the nicest butt?

Who wouldnt want to run into a sexy male Desire Demon?

Me. It's just not something I'm interested in. I don't care if they are presented, but I won't mourn their loss, either.

Well, I definitely think that they should make both male and female desire demons if they include them, regardless of anything else. But I personally don't want either of them to be so scantily-clad. After all, they're not lust demons. Desire is supposed to encompass much more, which is why a desire demon was trying to possess a child in DA:O, after all, but it still looked ridiculous. So I think Imshael was a step-up in that sense.

Another option would be to have the desire demon change appearance depending on your character. Having it appear as either male or female depending on your romance or even just flirts would be a good start. If you didn't flirt with anyone, perhaps it would either dynamically change appearance to try to get a reaction out of you or simply give up on trying to seduce you altogether.

Hah I love the idea of basing a desire demon's physical appearance on whomever you flirt with, or your chosen romance option. Since Imshael (choice spirit!) is late in the game at Suledin keep, I think it's easy to assume that a player either has a locked in romance, or is well on their way. I think it would have been hilarious if a male desire demon had attempted to seduce my Dorian-mancer, with Dorian standing right there to provide some snarky commentary. I might pick the "virgins" remark as a lark if Dorian responded with anything, but I don't believe he does, but such doesn't follow with my RP anyway. I would much rather say, "Virgins? Why would I want those? They're no fun," and have Dorian smirk.

The problem with desire demons in general is that they seem to be able to read people. From the NPC possessions that we've seen, the desire demon doesn't go up to a person and say, "Tell me what you want." And that's the problem with presenting it to the PC; you can't deal with the role-play aspects unless you give a really broad range of choices, which to me defeats the whole purpose. Sure, you can say, "I want to be richer than the Archon," or "I want to rule a kingdom," or "I want people to worship me," but those are so broad and undefined and don't allow for the type of personal tailoring of desire as we've seen with NPCs, like the templar in the Circle tower who wanted a normal life and family.

Question, does using the Golden Nug remove recipes, e.t.c from merchants stores? I dont want to buy everything a second time, and I rather like the idea of using multiple characters to essentially clear out the stores of Thedas.

Kind of hard to tell with the default outfit.

If it's not one of Tier 1 schematics (which don't sync), then yes. Once you sync with the Golden Nug, all schematics you got from that sync are removed from stores.

Does anyone know where I can find this armour?

I know where to find the female version, but it looks completely different when equipped on an elven male Inquisitor.

The Dalish Warrior Armor schematic, which I think it is, can be found in the Black Emporium in the Emporium's Schematics and be purchased for 1447 coins. It is for elves and warriors only though you can use certain metals and leathers to remove the class restriction.

The crafting materials that remove class restrictions are Dales Loden Wool (Cloth) Silverite (Metal) and Snoufleur Skin (Leather). I believe it only works if you place the cloth, metal or leather in the primary crafting slot.

Honestly, I dont understand why the female one doesnt look like this when equipped on an Elven male Inquisitor.

You're welcome :)

I spend an undue amount of time trying to find out where and how I could acquire Dalish armor and then an undue amount of time trying to take down a dragon levels above me because it dropped the mage schematic I wanted.

Had an amusing pay-off, though, as I found an exploit that caused my companions to revive without resetting the dragon. All because I tried to find cover in a effort of sheer determination to continue trying to kill the dragon with my party down.

When the dragon finally fell, I had the schematic I had longed for and a huge amount of dragon-related crafting materials because of the repeatedly spawning dragonlings. Also, the dragon's death triggered party banter twice in a row which was odd but sweet seeing as I had the banter bug.

In my first play through, if memory serves, I came across a quest in Val Royeaux where the Inquisitor could help two people get married... I think. I havent been able to find it since, and I have no idea where to begin, does anyone know what im looking for?

It happens at the end of Alliances: [something] War Table quest line. The wedding event changes depending on which advisers you pick to do the mission.

Okay, this is still bugging me, but who the hell is that naked human woman who comes out of the Well of Sorrows to block Corypheus?

That is the image of Mythal. I'm pretty sure that her appearance as human is a mistake on the part of the devs.

How well, if at all, do the Dalish and the Avvar get along? Do Avvar Humans dislike Elves like lowlander humans, and do the Dalish dislike the Avvar, or are they more cordial toward each other due to being somewhat similar?

No, Dalish are regarded like any other lowlanders. In fact, the debt owed by Mahariel to Flemeth in DA2 harkens back to an Avvar attack on her clan. The Avvar killed her fiancee and many others, so Mahariel made a bargain with Flemeth, who unleashed an army of sylvans on the barbarians.

The Avvar like dwarves, though.

Odd, you'd think Elves and Avvar would have a better relationship, it would make more sense than being friendly with Dwarves. Still, everyone likes the Dwarves, so that's understandable.

Why? Elves and Avvar don't worship the same gods. The Dalish are cautious about contact with spirits, and the Avvar aren't. Culturally, they aren't that similar, beyond living close to the earth. The only thing they really share is a common hatred of Chantry.

The dwarves have provided shelter to the Avvar and they're trading partners. Tyrdda Bright-Axe is said to have produced heirs with a dwarf chieftain, so there's some dwarven blood in Avvar veins as well. Their alliance goes back centuries.

If the Qunari learned of the existence of the Titans, what would their reaction be? Would they leave them be, or would they actively try to kill every last one of them?

I'm not certain if they don't already know about the Titans. The Tome of Koslun seems to have quite a bit of info about Thedas' history, like that Calenhad was really a Reaver.

But in any case, there's little they can do about the Titan(s). How do you kill a cavern? The Evanuris managed it, but they were also magical god-kings.
