Oh I thought it was me, because I was like, "When did Solas say HoF was banished?"
I haven't even played Trespasser, so I didn't post. I was like "Maybe I missed something earth shattering about the Warden. Oh well."
Glad I wasn't alone.

Solas banished the HoF to dark space along with the Reapers. Little does he know the Bhaalspawn left an eluvian on the Citadel and Revan now has the Anchor. Pay attention to the plot, animedreamer.
It all makes sense now...

Ironically, it's the same face I make towards Tom Cruise himself.

During Trespasser Solas stated that the HoF was banished forever with the Evanuris, paying the ultimate price for his/her misdeeds ,the murdering of Mythal.(Assuming that the hero didn't used personal soul to destroy the old god and that he attacked FLemeth)SO when he will torn apart the veil, our favourite GW will fall from the sky like those dwarfs of DAII

Revan has the Anchor? Yep, that sounds awesome.
Does that mean -- Jedi draw their power from the Fade? They're all actually Force mages! It's the only school of magic they've discovered. Mind blown. lol
P.S. The Sith clearly have some skill in the Storm/Primal school of magic, too.

I know what he means...though Solas said it was the old gods...technically...this peep is saying
If you tried to kill Flemmeth for her grimoire over for Morrigan in her personal quest you would have committed or attempted to commit the same crime as the old gods in the killing of Mythal...
We know this didn't happen b/c...Hawke is saved by her even if that fragment was destroyed...it was optional...my HoF didn't kill her...
But it is an interesting premise...
Since Solas did appear to kill her in the trailer at the end of Inquisition...or the general audience was suppose to take it that way...
It's an interesting idea...discussion...

The HoF didn't exist when Solas sealed away the Evanuris and there's no indication there's some retro-banishment in place for anyone who takes a poke at Flemeth.

Interesting. I wouldn't think that Solas would hold a grudge against the Hero of Ferelden for "killing" Flemeth, though.
For one thing -- he failed.
And for another -- unlike the Evanuris, the Hero had no idea that Flemeth was Mythal; he thought she was just a dangerous witch, or, worse, an abomination, and he acted with noble intent to free Morrigan from the threat of possession.
Solas doesn't seem petty enough to want to make the Hero suffer for making an honest mistake.

Yep. Valid.
I got nothing.
But, I think I did a good job of translating BioWare gamer in someone's head...to the the rest of the population;)
It's my best guess anyway!
Not a bad idea to throw the HoF under the bus...except the default is HoF is dead.
Mine is usually in a lesbian relationship with Lelianna in my Keep, but it depends on the play thru...

Okay. I'm going to start up a Hero of Ferelden grief and support center. To help these poor souls move on.

This is kinda on to something though... It really should have an effect on Solas's outlook on the world depending on wether the HOF killed Flemeth & Hawke helped her. It's like one the biggest actions that could determine whether Solas decides to sacrifice Thedas or not. If the champions of the new world are just as guilty as the Evanuris, well he can feel vindicated about destroying the world. If not, then that's one more thing showing Solas that people deserve respect & life.
Why would those have an effect when Solas wasn't even awake at that time?

Delayed punishment, after hearing of it, I guess?

He was watching the DAO events at Ostagar in the Fade. He could have seen the rest of our character's exploits as well, especially with Flemeth involved. He could also find the memories in the Fade later, and if the champions pose a threat to him he probably would find everything he could about them. I doubt Mythal dying again at our own hands is something that could escape his knowledge for very long.

Didn't he watch those events from fallen soldiers at Ostagar? Wouldn't make sense for him to see the Flemeth fight if no one else saw it

Yeah, but the HoF's story would be fairly well known by this point. Varric and Cassandra already knew the Warden was saved by Flemeth in DA2. It's not like a secret. What else is known? Nor was killing her necessarily a secret among Ali/Wynne/Leli/etc.. They could have told the tale at any time.
The OP's post was strange, but this is an interesting enough point.
