Hello everyone,

 

First of all, sorry if there is some mistake about my english skill. Please forgive me and feel free to correct me if needed 

 

This morning, and the past month, I've been playing DAI multiplayer game and, Well... You know what I'm going to speak about...

 

"you have lost your connection to the session"

I mean.. This sentence, I've been reading this too many times in the past month, and this morning is a world record ! I tried to join a group during 1 hour but of course, without success.

No matter the difficulty, the map choice or my character, I have been reading this message a hundred times the past few hours.

 

And whenever I successfully join a game, which lead from a miracle, I got disconnected at the stage 5, after the boss get killed (of course !) and only get the gold but no exp. Its worse than not joining a game at all ! Rather than not letting you enjoy the game, they prefer to let you enjoy it a bit, and remove all the joy you had and put it in your *** ! Its like playing a demo game ! When you finally get to the fun part, its the end of the demo !

I tried everything, restart multiplayer, restart the game, restart origin, restart the computer, restart the router, clean dns, untick the share players data, chose a map, ABSOLUTELY no impact. Nothing.

 

I've all the multiplayer DLC downloaded and this problem is more than a year old.

This bug is completely game breaker, am I the only one to still get it or is there any DLC for 30$ to fix this problem ?

Same problem here budy (on PC), i know how you fell :'(

 

The worst it's when i finally join the game and... see no interface, can't use my mouse for opening chest/door, can't return to the menu, etc, etc...

 

It's the first game i've use so much ALT+F4 ! xD

 

EDIT: I'm not a pro with PC but... maybe if you try to play without your Firewall or Antivirus Firewall thing (damn you Avast! xD)

I'd say one third of my matches ends with disconnects or crashes.

Many of them on zone 5. Just before the killing blow on the nightmare dragon.

I really enjoy this game, but it's the buggiest piece of x86 code I ever run. It makes Windows Millenion look rock stable.

Strange how the single player is not so.

You haven't truly played this game until you are disconnected from the host as you are soloing. Crash to Desktop is this Game's speciality.

Also on the PC, and while I may not seeing that particular issue with quite the frequency you are, it's still a common enough problem for me. Win 7, Win 10, 2 different ISPs. This weekend's fails so far (Fri-Sat)...

 

Lost connection to the server (2x this weekend)

Infinite loading screen when joining a match (3-4x this weekend)

Join a match without UI or mouse control (2x this weekend)

Insta-CTD (At least 5x this weekend)

Join match trapped inside wall (1x this weekend)

Pala "No guard for you!" bug (1x this weekend)

Narnia (1x this weekend)

And for some reason, my MP scorecard key keeps reverting to "v" (which I use for an ability) whenever the game loads. Or at random times. So if you see me paralyzed shortly after joining a match - that'll be why. 

 

As a matter of course, I have to load the game, then immediately quit, then restart the machine in order to get DAI to run semi-smoothly. If I don't, if I just boot the machine and try to run the game, it will glitch out and hard crash within 5-20 min. - without fail.

the latest origin patch seems to be the cause of the great increase in frequency of problems this weekend though the game is always more buggy on weekends than during the week.

 

you might be onto something there with the firewall /anti virus  being part of the problem, I used to use MacAfee and since I got rid of it I half as many issues as I did before, but I still have the same issues, now I get the ctd's regularly enough although I normally know when there coming due to seeing ram usage creep above 50% and not release (because we all know this game has huge memory leak issues) there are other issues although setting most of the graphics to minimum has fixed a lot of them, and whilst the sp is a lot more stable it still has the same issues /

I cannot believe you wasted hours still trying to get a match in this game even when being disconnected hundreds of times. Is this game that appealing to you? There is NO fix for the disconnection because the disconnection IS the game. It is what this game is all about or at least one of the game features. My advice to you is to find other games to make better use of your time since we are in the middle of hardcore gaming season right now and there are a great number of games incoming.

I'll. I was just playing on the WE to get the chests. But it was not really worth it to wait 4 hours for actually really playing 30 min for a chest with absolutely nothing inside...

 

Well thank you anyway everyone. That quite sad to have still such huge bug from a main company in 2015...

In my experience one way to really increase your chances of getting the lost connection error is if you enter and leave a lobby without starting a match then try and connect to another match right away.
