Every class is great, but I would like to ask for the class that you think will let you promote fastest: the one that you can take to NM once you hit level 9 or 10, the one that will kill the fastest and the one that give great survivability.

 

Please nominate one of each warrior, rogue and mage class and the reason for choosing them.

 

So here is my personal favourites:

 

Warrior: Katari

Why? Well, mighty blow and pommel strike is right there on top of the tree staring into your face... Charging bull gives you survivability and mobility (yes I HATE walking). Grab flow of battle and you are good to go for NM.

 

Rogue: Silent Sister

Why? Just take throwing blade upgrade and flow of battle and you are good for NM solo. What happens if you managed to get hidden blades as well? Well there won't be many kills left for your friends... Utter boss killer / dragon slayer. 

 

Mage: Elementalist

Why? Well you can make do with winters grasp. Upgraded Immolate is pretty decent too. Grab your fire storm and gathering storm, pop on your inferno belt and we are ready to rock. Just watch out for enemy fire until you grab barrier (or have obscene promotions). Immolate does reasonable dot damage and can be used for self revive, handy.

Reaver: Yup, once you get DR + Rampage + DR Ring... you're a walking lawnmower.

For some reason I don't like playing Saarebas... It feels slow, and slow makes me feel...old. I know it's not THAT bad in reality, but once I tried using Heart of Pride I found it difficult to switch back to Hakkon on her. So I just gave her up all together.

Rogue: Either the sister or the archer

 

Mage: Keeper is best mage at lvl 1

 

Arcane Warror is the best lvl 11-12 mage (or the virt for the super-strong)

Virtuoso. Reavers don't even get to DR anything as everything is one shot by hot licks infinitely due to encore giving free spells on kill, before the reavers / sara can even reach / cast them.

 

That's my fastest promoting class. Just run through maps, especially the old non FC maps, just Hot licks and Power Chording everything while my allies pick up gold and are unable to get many kills, let alone killstreaks.

Even with this combo, Sara's too slow rofl. If I wanted to, I could Pride --> Riff --> Power Chord Weakness combo through Heartbreaker too.

For me it changes, but currently:

Warrior: Lego. Counterstrike, Shield Wall, Shield Bash and Payback Strike. My build is pretty much finished at level 9, though I enjoy switching PS for Lunge and Slash at higher levels. CS spam, get the aggro off the team, let the baddies hit the shield, hit them with the shield, it is too much fun and great exp wise.

Mage: AW. CL + SF are great on their own, and even better when you can follow with MB for a Nightmare combo.

Rogue: I haven't promoted them much lately. But I might play my Archer with the Andruil's Gift bow every now and then for fun. Also, spike traps are just too good after the last buff.

Reaver, Silent Sister and Arcane Warrior. Hakkon Staff + Storm belt is great.

And I love casting PoTA, fade cloak into the grouped foes, swing the spirit blade and watch them fly as lots of numbers pop on the screen.

fastest way to promote is con - avvar, wil -virtuoso, cun - duelist or ss, safety first but a bit slower is con - reaver, wil - aw, cun - ss

Mage: AW- NM level 2
Rouge- SS- NM level 1.
This persons easy play for me, but I'm playing other too, of course.
