Does anyone know what DR the cabal gets on her heavy/light melee? I only ask because the N7 vanguard gets 85% DR from his, which makes him pretty hilarious against stuff.
So, anyone know?

Nope. But the batarian vanguard gets the most, if you stack blade armour, biotic charge and heavy melee, you are very nearly immune to all damage. But not immune to sync kills, so don't try it.
Actually, that's not true. The Batguard's heavy melee, at least, only gives 75% DR, while the n7 classes get 85% from theirs, plus a short invulnerability window. I had a lot of fun last night charging primes with my vanguard and just light meleeing infinitely while taking no damage.
Does anyone at least know what programs are used to test such things? If I had it, I'd do it myself.

The Slayer's heavy melee gives the standard 50% listed DR. It's only its light melee that gives 85%. Also no i-frame whatsoever. Which makes the Batarian heavy melee the heavy melee with the highest DR.
As for the program, you'd have to ask Peddro, Corlist, Tyhw or someone like that. I never got into it myself.

Odd; That doesn't gel with my experience last night. When light meleeing primes, sometimes I'd take about 1/20th my shields in damage from their pulses, but other times I'd take no damage at all.
I don't actually know the exact numbers, I was just basing my statements on this document, which unfortunately doesn't include turian vanguard info.

That would be because if you charged in the last 4 secs you'd get something like 99.7% DR, and therefore it'd seem that no shield gets taken, while if you didn't you'd have something like 70% and you'd lose a sensible amount of shields.
Also, Peddro's here, so you might as well ask any other question you've got ![]()
Talking of which - glad to see you still peeking here from time to time, man ![]()

I'm slightly afraid to post here, as I've never really given a crap about the maths so I can't offer any info which will answer the OP's question. That said, we've had discussions in the past about the melee Cabal. As a non-hosting player, most of the time at least, I find skipping PS and going for a full melee build to be totally awesome, especially with a Raider. Now I'm not a great player by any stretch, so I've always assumed her melee comes with significant DR, because I would expect to die a lot more if it didn't. Her melee targeting off-host is the opposite of PS in that it's surprisingly reliable - much better than a Krogan or Batarian, though it pains me a little to say it.

That is a nice feature...forgot about that. It's got that slick radar lock process -- similar to Shadow Strike.

I think I go 4 in Poison Strike (for teleports and kill Swarmers) and 4 in Nightshade Blades (to fire at group of mooks before I charge into them), 6 points each in Biotic Focus, Passives, and Melee Fitness. Top it off with Omni-Blade Raider and it's a pretty good setup IMO. Of course there is also Double Dash which is equally pretty good.

Just all 6 glitch her and get the best of both worlds, Gruntkitterhand. It's what I do, so that means it's totally ok if everyone else does it too.
