Maybe this is really a joke topic, but the responses I'm seeing all assume every player will want every PC to be good-looking. It may be the case that someone somewhere wants an average- or less than average-looking person saving the day because it's rare in fiction. Isn't this the fandom that's all about representation? (Though I guess it would be a bit weird to push for that, and then not want to look at it. Eh, people are weird.)

Well if not good-looking then something one doesn't mind looking at during the course of the game. Who wants to look at something that they don't want to look at?
