Beating the Arishok as a warrior is too hard.

lol, that's what I did as Mage Hawke. Was that I went around in Circles as he tried to bash me, he failed and ended up going into a corner himself when he did his running dashing thing. It was fun to do for hours.
Same here. xD I remember the first time that had to go through with the duel. "Yeah, I froze him! Uh oh... didn't last long... Fire?... Crap... Maybe... No, just run away!"

It took me awhile too. It has been a long time since I played but I remember getting to a point where almost every enemy had damage reduction against my warrior so I always did little damage. I was annoyed that mages regular attacks seemed to be doing more damage than mine.
Well... not *every* time...XD
Man, Yakety Sax (Benny Hill theme) makes so many things funnier.

Neither have I or at least no moer trouble than I get from trying to beat him as any of the other classes anyway as I've completed the game with all 3. So far it's the only DA game I've succeeded at doing that but I intend on trying to achieve that with all 3 games eventually. Origins I'm missing a rogue and DAI I'm missing a warrior win but I'm playing warrior on my next run through DAI so i may be completing that set soon.

I was frightened at thought of beating the Arishock as a Warrior and I lacked inspiration for playing a Warrior Hawke in DA2; though I could've beaten the game as a Rogue Hawke if I so wished... I just love Carver so much and Bethany so little it make it hard for me to play other classes besides Mage. In DAO I've beaten the game as a warrior and a Mage. In DAI I need a Warrior and Rogue to beat the game with, same as in DA2. I had more fun in DAO lol.
When I was forced to restart my Amell and Cousland again (I didn't like my first Cousland's looks or amor... Or really anything about her. My second Cousland was far better. My Amell accidently hardend Alistair and she was at the Landsmeet so I had to restart the game cause of that.) I've beaten Origins 5 times actually while I've beaten DA2 three times and DAI twice.

For me it was less a case of the fight being harder and more a case of it taking a lot longer than if I'd used a rogue or mage.
That said, it's the same with Loghain in DAO as well.

Well... not *every* time...XD
Yep, this was pretty much how my warrior fared.

Ugh, just got to him on my first time through today. (Decided to marathon the entire series before I dusted off Inquisition a year after I bought it... Crazy I know).
Playing 2H warrior Reaver + Templar on nightmare.
I'm all fine doing the move 90 degrees, slash twice, move, until he starts using his stab attack. Usually I can live through it by quaffing a potion afterwards... problem is when he follows it up with his twirly attack while I'm helpless on the ground.
I can actually beat him in the group fight fairly quickly, but it felt really counter to the character I was playing to decline the duel.
Any tips? Is his stabby attack telegraphed in ANY way? Usually the other patterns only get me when I'm especially unlucky.

Well given he's supposed to be a boss I t3end to think of those as being long tough fights anyway yo ujust need tyo adopt and find what atactics work best for you in dealing with him. Personally I prefer the one on one fight than slaughtering every Qunari in the room though as I find that a MUCH tougher prospect. It's definitely for me the toughest part of the whole game tbh that whole level. Even the Meredith fight at the end of the game is easy compared to it. Mind you in that section you do gtet a lot of help ther as your whole team chips in even if you didn't select them for the fight.
