I faintly remember something being off with him, but I can't remember what exactly.

I was wondering if the Quarian Marksman had a broken evo in his Marksman tree.
I faintly remember something being off with him, but I can't remember what exactly.
Aside from possible marksman headshot bug.
It's probably his fitness tree, it doesn't match the other quarian male engineer/infiltrator.
At max fitness for the quarksman he only gets 875/875 health and shields at max while the other quarian male kits get 875/1050 at max health and shields.
Or the fact that his tactical scan evo 5 headshot does not also work.
And if this clears up anything, I'm not sure if it's true but according to someone that applying marksman for example while firing a hurricane midfire does not apply the bonuses of marksman specifically the RoF.
And sabotage cooldown was changed during balance changes in case you didn't know.

Now I remember, his fitness was less than the other Quarians,, so they increased his weapon passives to compensate.
Thanks!

Ah yes, the fitness tree was what I was thinking of!

The RoF change from activating or deactivating marksman is only applied after you re-engage the trigger. So if you are continuously firing the hurricane and activate MM, the RoF won't change until you stop firing momentarily; however, if you have MM active, you can keep the RoF bonus for as long as you hold the trigger down (and still have ammo).

Unless you're using a ramp up weapon. Those work normally.
Oh, and headshot bonus on MM works perfectly fine. It's the scan on which is bugged.

It was headshot bonus. Even if it wasn't bugged, it would still be useless. Can't give heads behind a mask... or can you? Hmm.....

Meh, feeling lazy today.
Quarian Marksman's health/ shields are not bugged. He just left some of them at home because nothing ever has its head long enough to try and touch them, so he instead decided to bring more weapon damage to make things more dead. Anyone who can't keep him alive doesn't deserve to be playing him anyway and needs to git gud before trying to put their pleb hands on his glorious, discerningly high class soup
.
Quarian Marksman intentionally broke his Tacscan's headshot bonus because of his superior intellect. Because of his perspicacious level of knowledge of the science of war, he knows that Tactical Scan is first and foremost a boss debuff, and also knows that double/triple hits are more effective against bosses who aren't the Prime (who he is going to nuke anyway). It's his way of educating the lesser life forms as to the proper way of playing the game.
