Ehhhhhhhhhhh, not sure where to stand on this game, it is definitely a game I want to see released as there is a lot that could potentially be learned from it (both good and bad) but I am not sure how I feel about the idea as a game that I would want to play, it is a very gutsy idea and we could use more gutsy ideas in the video game industry but is this taking it a bit too far? I suppose if anything it could be a good social experiment though.

That said is permadeath something you feel could enhance the experience in ME:A, even if it was just you had to re-start the playthrough when you die instead of just losing access to the game for good?

In a 30 hour game?

Yeah I suppose if ME:A is anything like Inquisition being forced to start again when you are near the end would be a major pain in the arse, still I do think developers do need to look at these sorts of things as they can be effective at manipulating players on a psychological level.

I am genuinely curious to see how this game turns out, to see what effect this whole perma-perma-death angle has on the behavior of those playing the game, will they be as dickish as they usually are in these types of online survival games or will the whole one life angle cause them to take a more cautious approach for fear of repercussions?

That game is basically built to die off fairly quickly.

Bold ideas are good, but this is just seems like somebody trying to get their 5 minutes in the spotlight by being "outrageous".

There was an MMO like this on Caprica, come to think of it.
