Damned revive bug

So I've got to ask, has anyone else experienced this? A bug whereas one of the party goes down & there is no prompt to revive them, you just keep jumping up & down on them, rather annoying for all parties involved.

 

I have only encountered it a few times & I was wondering if anyone know what triggers it & how to avoid it in the future

It's a rare bug (laggy connection issue?), but I see it every once in a while. I'll even see the prompt sometimes... but you're unable to click it.

Yup. I get it a couple times a week. It ends up with me looking as though I am inadvertently "teabagging" the poor hapless KO'd teammate. When in truth, I really can't rez the chap. <_<

It happens to me relatively often when I play on my Australian friend's host (I'm in the US) and frequently shows up with other issues like wonky barrier generation, insta-Fades, and HoK registering late or not at all. So in my experience... connection/lag issues.

I seem to just keep getting it in matches where I'm playing with BTMatt and the person going down always happens to have pissed him off somehow. So he's complaining about how annoying they're being, and I'm just jumping up and down on them. Probably looks like I'm dancing on their grave or something.

Definitely lag/connection issues. Its better to clear the map and revive them from the door anyways.

If you're ever in one of our games & you see me jumping up and down like that on ChadZilla's rotting corpse it is totally a connection issue causing it and not an attempt to draw attention to his failure.

had the no raise

the no raise but another team mate can raise

the insta-fade

the instafade but raise them anyway 

the go back out the door and they pulled you but your on the previous level and they are not

Did anyone of you experience that cool lag that makes you move superfast after you go down and can be revived?

 

It's actually pretty funny how fast you can move at times

Are you sure it's not because of rampage/furious blows/scenting blood or any other movement speed increase like saarebas/virtuoso buffs? Because those stay post mortem.

Not sure, it might be, but it did happen more often in the past, especially when i was on ps3

I have seen this a few times.  But also I think other people could revive just not me.  Because I would see another player ran up and did the revive.  Probably made me seem like an ass for standing there and doing nothing.

Another bug/feature that is highly annoying is the 'unable to barrier stealthed team mates'.  Did BioWare every clarify that one as to whether they did it on purpose or if it was one of the many bugs introduced in patches and never fixed?

Ugh, I hate that one mostly due to people not understanding that's a thing. They'll have a staff that proc's fade cloak or they'll be in stealth half the match and gripe at me for "missing them" with my barriers and tell me my keeper sucks. Boo. >_<

I am not a good enough keeper to solo perilous to the end at mid level thus I need a damage dealer.

I see it very often, pretty much in most games I play, since I always play cross-region and it is not uncommon to have people from three to four different regions in my games.
It seems like this game wasn't meant to be played between long distances, however that is the only way I can get to play MP.

The best workaround for this bug is what Silversmurf just said, "Don't die".

I know right? They'll pop out of stealth, and I'm all like "A-HA!" and throw up a barrier... misses them by a millisecond. *womp womp*

I could be mistaken but I seem to recall one of them confirming that this was a byproduct of their buff to Stealth a few patches back.  It was a consequence of their making the stealther immediately invulnerable to already animated attacks but unfortunately also applies to beneficial effects as well.  It came across as a "lesser of two evils" type of decision rather than being an actual bug.

I think Luke once compared the new stealth to Fade Cloak, which makes sense since Fade Cloak has always made players immune to barrier as well.  That was very irritating back when I played a lot of Keeper.
