Lots of people upset about the Geth here. Too many platinum solo runs ruined by stunlock?
Geth faction is better then Cerberus & Reapers. Right?

So many wisdoms conpacted in that book...I'd rather get sync killed from a phantom with it's ass towards me, than getting stunlocked from Geth with their Chinese army rushing in big numbers tactics
Then again it's probably no problem for the OP, since he's the Teriminator and not even the Geth can stop him even if they read the art of war by Sun Tzu

cerberus is sh it only when play on gold 9-11 with 4 respawn infinitely which is ridiculous

I completely agree with this. Collectors are by far the most BS faction. Most of the time, if you get into a stunlock dance against Geth, it's because you screwed up. It's slightly easier to take that way. With Collectors, you can play it correctly and still get killed, by buttlazors that hit you through solid walls from across the map, two scions dropping a pile of grenades at your feet despite the fact that neither have LOS on you, Possessed Captains that fire 80 round bursts that basically LOL at your shield gate and health gate, etc.
I always hear this. But I never experience it. So how am I to believe it then?

Really? I always found Cerberus to be the easiest, despite the atlas mechs and turrets. If phantoms were health fiends then it might be a different story.
Cerberus is harder. Atlas, enginners/turret, guardians, phntoms that can hit from a distance, negate all power damage and cloak and hide to recharge barrier. And the worst bit. Backing up to take on atlas and multiple phantoms to walk right into a turret nest that they set up on their spawn point so you get trapped between the two.
Reapers the only really bad units are muraders. Brutes and banshees are bullet sponges but are only really dangrous if you get caught in a corner or get caught between them.

^ Atlases are also great for dominating an area or distant sniper perch overseeing something like crucial Jade center device and you without rockets and objective time running out... yes. This happened to me once. No form of kiting made that Atlas give up that tactical position. Like it was self aware...
Only thing making Atlases weak is great dps with the triple hit glit... BioWare feature. Sadly, great dps is something I sometimes forget to pack for greater challenge reasons...

Cerberus is best. Then Collector without bees. Then Repers.

Geth is always pre selected by pug playing Krogans due to their fear of being synch killed from the other 3 factions.(they are ignorant of wave 3 prime factor)
If you are playing a squishy kit Geth is not better than other factions, why?
They Cheat ![]()
and if you think they are better, then you haven't had 3 rocket troopers hit you at the same time in the face from across the map or when you round a corner multiple times in any match, only then will you feel the Force of enacting the Rage Rocket Rule and blowing up those Toasters to the far side of the Glalaxy

I guess I'm not sure how you haven't experienced it, because it literally happens every game I play against Collectors. Sometimes, using hard cover will prevent it, but I'd say hard cover has maybe a 75% success rate at blocking the lasers and soft cover is somewhere around 25% effective. If you have a character with a dodge, you can usually get out of the way pretty easily. But if you're using a Krogan against Collectors, you pretty much have to concede that you're going to eat the lasers sometimes no matter where you're standing, if you can't get the Praetorian to stagger.
EDIT: If you're talking about the butt-lazors part, then that doesn't happen every match. But it certainly happens at least once every 2-3 matches, especially if you're off-host. I'm pretty sure the game treats Praetorians as facing whatever direction they want to be facing, instead of the direction their animation says they are facing. I have had a Praetorian sync me from its butt before. I was playing a Justicar and I thought I could dart in, drop a bubble, and dodge away safely. I dropped the bubble, dodged away, and then was slowly drawn back as the Praetorian rotated 180 degrees to sync me.

I do think one way to mitigate this is to actually be "actioned" into the hard cover, where your back is against it, I've noticed that helps a lot, but otherwise, yeah, you can expect 2 out of 3 times you're trying to RHA a Praetorian and they laser you, those ass beams are coming through the hard cover

It will definitely mitigate it, but I have found that even hard cover doesn't always work (with your back to the cover), and in fact, it's probably only about 75% effective. And it's zero percent effective if you have a teammate standing next to you in soft cover, because for some reason it seems like when the lasers hit a teammate, it creates an AOE centered on the impact point instead of an AOE centered on the laser, kind of like a Prime/Scion/Ravager cannon does.

Full height hard cover stops the lazers every time for me.

Not for me. Not if I'm at the corner of the cover anyway. If I back away from the edge, it works pretty much every time. That doesn't give you a ton of time to come out of cover and shoot between lasers though, especially with something slow like a Krogan.

Butt lazers, yes (still very rare, though). But across the map and in butt form, that's another story.
