So, I didn't really get in on the DAMP scene until a couple of months ago — I was still too busy nerding out over single player.  I'm really enjoying the weekend challenges, but as I understand it, they're going to stop now?

 

I've heard a bunch of theories/rumors from other players in PuGs that they're going to switch over to monthly challenges for the rest of this year (which I've been able to confirm via BioWare's Twitch stream), but I've also heard that after that, they're just going to recycle all the old weekend challenges from the beginning.  I can't find any primary sources to confirm this, and I was wondering if there was any merit to this.

I'm in your same boat; was playing single player and tried out MP recently and enjoyed it. I'm hoping they continue weekend challenges but I haven't heard anything

I don't think we have any official word on when the challenges will end. The excellent (for some players) book 3 reward chest this past weekend felt like a goodbye gift to me, but others have pointed out there are enough challenge points in the hq that aren't tied to anything else to make up two more book challenges. If so that's 10 more weeks of challenges at least.

During the last twitch session, Bioware devs said they made enough challenges to last until January and complete Book 4 & 5.

I don't see any reason for the support guys not to use them...

I'm pretty sure I heard them say on one of the last DAI streams that they are going to run weekend challenges through the rest of the year.After that,I don't know.

Guys,next time beat MP to the death first and then play SP.

I mean,SP won't go anywhere,but MP is somewhat time limited (weekend events and such)
