I just bought this game and sadly I only get 3 resolution options to choose from. I am running a 1080p monitor native. The resolution choices I have are

1024x768

1280x720

There are a few others but they are all under 1080p and I can not choose 1080p. Please help. I really want to play this game. I have a gtx 980ti and I don't want to have to play this game at 720p lol.

Thank you!

That's very bizarre. I run a 980 Ti and I have every resolution from 800p up to 4k.

Is the GPU new? Any similar issues on other games? Are your drivers up to date? Have you checked your resolution settings in Windows to ensure your base resolution is set correctly? You might also want to check NVIDIA Experience/Control Panel (can't remember which one off hand) to make sure the resolution is set correctly there.

If all that fails, maybe try seeing if Origin game repair helps. Otherwise, you might have to contact EA tech support. It's very rare to get a direct response from anyone at Bioware on tech issues.

Thank you for your reply. Thank you for your time also. I managed to get this game running. It was weird cause most games you click the arrow to the right to increase your resolutions. This game it was the opposite. I had to keep clicking the left arrow to get to the resolution I wanted haha. Also if you don't mind me asking another question so I don't have to open another thread. What is better at 1920x1080p. 1440p Nvidia DSR MSAA OFF or 1080p MSAA x4.

A big thank you again!

It's hard to say which is better, as I've not used DSR, so I can't comment as to which is going to give a better balance between image quality and fps; it's probably something you need to try and see for yourself. However, I can tell you that even at 1440p you will want some AA because there are still quite a few jaggies at that resolution without it (you really can't go without AA until 4k). I play at 1440p and I still use 2x MSAA, as I find it gives excellent image quality without impacting fps as much as 4x MSAA does.

DSR is a huge resource hog. I understand that you have a 980, but if you want to conserve for other reasons (fan noise, etc) then you might not want to go with that.

Even though my rig can handle it just fine, I do not use MSAA at all or the new NVIDIA MFAA (turn this on using the NVIDIA control panel or GeForce Experience) because I don't like the way it looks. I use post-process AA on ultra, along with everything else on ultra + a few tweaks in the NVIDIA control panel.

Check out this page for more in-depth info relating to DAI specifically, and this page for tweaking NVIDIA settings in the control panel. Keep in mind that you should adjust things so that you have the best performance for your rig, your monitor/tv, and your own eyes.

That said... probably the best, prettiest, and most natural looking AA will come from using DSR since the scene is rendered higher and then lowered to fit your own resolution. So if your rig can handle it, I might suggest trying NO MSAA (and no MFAA) + 2x or 4x DSR and see how it looks. Experimentation is the key :D.
