after you craft your first purple armor does it go higher without the experienced achievement?

As long as you have the materials you can craft drakescale which have the highest armor values.

Btw, I shudder to think what monster you want us all to taste....

Sometimes when I find myself crawling about, looking for a dropped contact lens in nightmare, I wonder if I should have equipped my drakescale armor. The other crafted armors just look so much nicer

Drakscale is nice on a few characters imo, best one being Luka but I agree that other armour sets look better and also the fact that now a days everyone and their dog wears drakescale.

Drakscale is nice on a few characters imo, best one being Luka but I agree that other armour sets look better and also the fact that now a days everyone and their dog wears drakescale.

At least the drakescale looks better in MP than it did in SP (it didn't even use the proper body models). Luka is adorable in everything and I love necro, AW, and reaver in it but wish I had some brain bleach to help me recover from seeing the Avvar. Drakescale is so common now that it's shocking to see pugs in the purple crafted stuff

I love the crafted purple outfits, but my baby-soft behind feels like it needs every ounce of armor, it can get. At least on Perilous +.

Agree about the Avvar, the only two that for me are so bad that I refuse to wear it is the Avvar and Rion the Ele becasue Rion is one butt ugly dude and he has one of the cooler hooded robes in the game  (with his large spell book strapped to his back)

More like the Uncle Fester version! Now you know why all his other armours come complete with head hiding hood.

yeah I was surprised when I saw the avar without headdress tbh but I use drakscale on everyone at least until I have a lot more promotions, and even with it being stronger than the purple crafted stuff I still go down against darkspawn or qunari way to often, its like the damage gates don't work for either ranged or melee attacks, sometimes I take 1 damage and other times half my health disappears from the love tap .....

Edit: for the record, I've gone back to crafted armour, it looks better even when the world turns green.
