Cheesing is a slang term for using something easy and overpowered to win. For example flamer, arc nades, reegar, cloak, GI, Space Magic :wizard: etc...

Yes, the term is nearly interchangeable with "crutch". It means something we all used unapologetically while we were learning the game and that we disavow once we don't need it anymore.

I was aware of cheese but not what I lit meant in ME. It's like using smoke bomb in Assassin's Creed MP.

I will disagree on the cloak. Cloak is the main ability of infiltrators. It's not even so cheesy as the shield doesn't regenerate. Now I witnessed something quite cheesy this week: snap freeze. It was like I was in a freeze and break festival -_-

Not sure how to link that but it's czeuch. You can search my stuff for PS3.
Well, you either read and studied a lot,and when I say a lot it's A LOT, or you used to play on another platform or you played the SP hundreds of hours.
The probably of a player new to the game soloing anything is quite low. It'd say almost impossible.
I have kits that allow me to solo but it's not like I've been trying to do it. I must have try it 5x in 10 days. I give priority to silver matches.

Add me up on PSN.

I hadn't tried to solo again aside from Silver but today I decided to test the Volus Protector in a solo bronze.
I finished ir foe the first time.

I must admit that I underestimated that chaeater. He's pretty resilient. I got totally swarmed and flaneed during escort but I still managed to take that drone back to where ir belongs.

It's still sucks a bit that the enemies know where you are even if clocked. I guess they're not so dumb as to ignore you if you cloak right in front of them.

I wanted to test that kit. I have another kit with shockwave. But both have max fitness as I'm still noob lol

It's hard to build a kit wrong for bronze (but it can be done.)

That's what I was going to say.  Rocket Troopers and Marauders are the worst campers in my experience.

When I'm using my Shadow, I call them "escape route."

It's still sucks a bit that the enemies know where you are even if clocked.

A lot of people do get that impression about cloak, but once you understand the mechanics of it, you can use it to drop aggro quite well.

I guess they're not so dumb as to ignore you if you cloak right in front of them.

This is true, and it's the first step to understanding how to use cloak properly.

It's even true whether or not you're right in front of them. Cyonan has a TC mechanics thread listed in the Resource Library, and it explains it better than I will, but I'll summarize the main points:

- Enemies will periodically "peak behind the veil" if they cannot find any targets, and this ability will see through cloak, allowing them to track players down who are hiding.

- Enemies target on about a three second cycle. Every three seconds or so, they'll decide on a target. Usually it will be the same target they were already attacking, as they tend to prioritize both their current target or a wounded target. That means they won't spontaneously switch around much without some kind of external factor getting involved.

- Enemies that lose track of a target but that do not switch targets will continue to shoot at the same place as they saw their most recent target before losing it.

This is particularly important in a solo, because if the enemies are targeting you and you cloak, but don't move, their natural behaviour will be to continue shooting you.

As funny as it may sound, moving as little as a meter or two after cloaking is enough to very consistently drop aggro. This is especially easy to test on bronze because enemies are at their slowest, and you can more easily watch their behaviour while you move around.

Don't underestimate adding speed to the equation, as well. Faster moving characters, even those without tactical cloak, can actually move faster than the AI can re-target them (unless you're playing on PC with a very high frame rate, but I do not know the details/numbers of where it starts to really break down.)

The Drell Assassin doesn't ever need duration because with his speed and a basic 3-second Tactical Cloak, he can practically run circles around the enemy all day long (I'm exaggerating, especially against Geth when Primes show up with their turrets and drones.)

Congrats on your first solo!

To be frank, a Krogan Vanguard vs Geth (no sync kills possible) properly built can be used through all your solos including gold.
