Maybe, but most likely it'll just make everyone else's Wave 11 a nightmare...

...and toasting your teammates in the reactor or serving them an a-bomb flambé will cause them the face-plant. Yet it is good, wholesome, adult fun.

One day you'll come to understand that, quite often, the things grown-ups do for fun are inherently dangerous.

Sex, R-rated movies, booze, drugs, happy-time wave 11 missiles, BASE jumping, etc. are all activities that are reserved for adults because, integral to their nature is a modicum of risk and danger. I know that is a difficult concept but one day, when you're older, I'm sure you'll get it.

But don't be glum...I think they're showing It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown on TV tonight! So, you've got that going for you...which is nice!

Score is completely unimportant, as long as the BSN'er is at the top of the scoreboard.

No, it's always unlimited. But on bronze and silver you can deplete the boss/subboss budget.
Silver Cerberus w10 you can manipulate 6 or 7 guardians on the field by killing enough high end units when the objective clock is running. It's really funny :-)

Yes, you can.  I remember one wave back in my Silver days when the escort drone got "stuck" on a stairway on Vancouver.  The enemies just kept coming until it was almost all Guardians.  I had a sniper rifle and I could see their spawn location in the distance, so I just kept popping headshot after headshot and they respawned as fast as I could kill them.  Fun times.

Points is an inaccurate representation of player skill level.

Only because some kits are better score whores than others, unless you yourself that's not playing something like a fury or QME is just playing insanely good. I remember one time I nearly outscored a host fury with a GI and a black widow with duration cloak and I thought it was pretty funny on my end because I was giving the fury a run for 1st place as a weapon platform kit.

I played 3 matches yesterday with my new HS. Started at lvl 8 with maxed tech armor but 1 point in warp and throw.

Needless to say that I was quite useless that match. Now I just specced detonate in both warp and throw and things must gt better in the next match. Aside from the last match where I was playing with pugers noober than myself, I was always last in the score lol

Human Sentinel is a great kit - one of my favorite.

You might want to start speccing him by putting points into warp and throw to help your damage output. Usually that's more important than trying to beef his survivability.

Maybe check this guide by Jeremiah12LGeek for further tips and tricks for this kit.

Coincidentally, the Sentinel is the last class I need to max out. So I started it last night. I played 3 matches, from lvl 8 to 15. It was very weak at first. I just specced Throw to Detonate so now it must get better.

And I've seen that guide from Jeremiah, very nice one :)

Last time I started fresh, the sentinel was my bread and butter for staying in gold with a naked manifest. You can run it for maximum explosions as Jeremiah12LGeek so beautifully illustrated, or you can play around a little to increase weapon effectiveness if you like. Between Warp and the Mantis, I was able to overcome the armor problems of a new manifest. Great character.

If you topscore but I had to drop what I was doing 10 times to revive you I'm not going to be excited to play with you again. If you don't make my life harder I'll want to play with you, whether you score at the top or the bottom.

As far as missiles go, don't missile behind you when doing the escort because then the enemies will spawn in front of you. In general, missiling begets missiling because you take care of the immediate threat but cause a large spawn in an inconvenient location (sometimes on top of your head).

About objectives, I learned a lesson today at the Dagger. I ran for the second pizza which was in that wide open are in the middle. I should have first cleared the place with my team and they grabbed it. But no, I grabbed it and died :P

Don't blame yourself too much. Pizza in Dagger is tricky (when It spawns in open) . Enemies have clear sight of you. You also cannot clear enemies as they will spawn right after killed and probably you will be again in clear LOS.

This should be one of the in-game loading "tips."  Stop telling me about how Brutes can instantly kill me if I'm really, really stupid and also unlucky.

1. Missile targets.
2. Stay in circle or escort and try to stay alive. This is the major issue that prevents me from going in pug lobbies and carry them.
3. Devices - If i am an infiltrator and clocked while doing devices, don't stay near me.
4. Devices - if I am not infiltrator, watch my back and missile the approaching Banshee.
5. Devices/escort/pizza/hack - Do not missile enemies that are far.

Score is everything, epeen is everything.

Screw objectives, let the scrubs do it while you go on the other side of the map and sc00rh00r. Missile spawns on wave 11. Kill steal that Atlas from a guy who did 90% of damage and you just love tapped it for 2000 points. Shake the screen of that Aimbot GI. I can't aim, then neither can you  :P

You should only live for these moments:

Yeah, that isn't always the case. AI knows where you are if you're cloaked or not. Judgement call really. If you managed to skip away without anything close then lone wolfing it can be a breeze. If teammates are on a murder spree elsewhere on the map there's a good chance some mook is going to spawn with a bead drawn right on your head.

I don't mind decoys teammates near me as long as they are pulling the aggro and making life miserable for the advancing force.

*cloacked.

I know enemy AI sometimes can detect you but afik, they will always detect you in solos and aggro will drop in group games. Generally works, but AI logic, It's unpredictable.

And they're made of neutrinos, so they can appear unexpectedly through walls, floors, or planets as they seek you out.

Score is kind of weird in what it values. Mainly the kill shot. I can't count the times I've whittled a boss down to nothing then someone comes in and finished the last bar of armor off. Since I've been on both sides it usually goes something like assist 800 kill 1200. And what points do you get for doing a shield boost or the lack luster points from stasis on that phantom which made her a easy kill for the team.

And then sometimes teamwork can go against your points. I've been in biotic teams where I just primed and the sentinel next to be detonated. It was a great rhythm for quick kills but he would get about 4 times the points I would per kill. But I'll gladly take the crap score if it means it was an easy run due to teamwork.

That being said I always look and try to at least not be on the bottom.

Being on bottom isn't bad, sometimes it's nice to lay back and let other people do all the work, I usually like to be on top though because I like to feel like I'm in control and it gives me a big head rush when we all hit extraction.

It certainly feels great when everyone hits extraction at the same time.

Being on the bottom is no excuse for not finding ways to help. If a teammate is doing most of the heavy work, it gives you a chance to get farther into the game--finding devices to activate, hanging on to your teammate, letting her know you have her back--that sort of thing. In a deep infiltration scenario, all hands need to be working toward successful completion. There will be moments where things get hard, and it may require teammates to move faster and get a little rough, but you don't have to be on top to get those things done. You can be big from the bottom, and you can push a teammate back up if she's letting down. Keep things moving until you can finally extract.
