So I'm running around the Deep Road with the two temporary Dwarf companions and since we fight enemies all the time, they are having to chug down potions. With Rub Some Dirt On It, the potions for my party have only one point. Is that the case with the two Dwarf companions? I am hearing them constantly gulping down potions and it's a little distracting (and IMMERSION breaking...not really but I wanted to say that once in my life).

Anyway, do their potions just have 1 point also. Because that means they have to well over 500 potions each, whenever we get into a fight and the game will be over before they ever get topped off.

Is there anything I can do to make them stop gulping potions?

It's possible, but they spam potions a lot anyway.

There's nothing you can do to influence how they behave (best you could hope for is that they bug out and stop moving).

Does that trial have to be on for Descent? If they are taking one potion after another then yes, their potions would be 1 HP as well.

BioWare should have made them immortal to begin with. Meaning, they can't drop below 1 HP, and their max health is 1 HP.

It seems your dwarves have a drinking problem.

They are immortal. The health and potions are just there for the sake of appearance.

Now that I think about it, I tried the trials for the first time, in my last game. I didn't turn them on until almost the end and when we were at the Temple of Mythal, Morrigan was chugging potions just like the dwarves are doing, because I had Rub Some Dirt On It turned on. Maybe they can do something to keep that from happening in future games...no way those dwarves can be carrying that many potions.  :P

This.  They can't die unless everyone dies (and you lose) and/or they are scripted to die.  This is handy for some of the fights in that DLC.
