What dead? I'm totally serious. I think EA should get a sponsor from Pepsi co and have the the Ark be a Pepsi funded expedition in game with the goal to create a pathway between galaxies so they can expand there franchise. You are not just starting a colony. You are a hero to the masses bringing affordable Murica/Mexican food to the masses. The people of andromeda need you. You are freeing them from the clutches of the Khet who force organic food on the masses.

If this thread is serious the implementation of a current day company would be immersion breaking for me unless they have custom logos and such for the setting and it is at least a bit discrete, maybe plastered in the mess hall of the ark if it's a food/drink company would be ok but if the ark has a big modern day pizza hut logo on the side it I would scour for a mod that would remove that in an instant.

 

If an promotional item in a game has a corporation's logo on it I am easily deterred away from ever touching it.

 

I do however like that it provides decent funding for the game's development.

 

 

Honestly I wish that games, especially ones that require online access have things like billboards that load in advertisements. The developers/producers could bring in enough profit from the ads that it can drastically lower the cost of DLC/microtransactions.

To be clear The thread starter didn't have a corporate logo plan. That's just my insanity. And I am serious. I think it would be awesome. Do you remain a corporate shill standing up for low cost tasty food or do you defect to the evil ways of organic food and maybe veganism. Already a better plot than ME1-3. Is it enough to conquer your own galaxy with the Taco Bell or do you need to extend your power to new galaxies.
