Just so we're clear, EVERYONE wants Dragon Age 4 to be set in Tevinter right?

Please tell me we are all on the same page?

That place has been teased in the lore for AGES.

If you don't want that to be the main setting, then where would you like to see the next game set?

Is it okay not to really have a preference?  I mean . . . does the background map on the war table matter that much?  The areas are likely to be "oh, here's a snowy area, here's a lake, here's some desert, even more desert, some grass and rocks, a buncha trees, the deep roads" regardless, right?

I'd kinda like to head north, though, I think Fereldan has been stomped on enough.  First the Orlesian occupation, then the Blight, then the Inquisition . . . time for someone else to do some work around here.

The map at the end of Trespasser seems to make it almost certain regardless of want.

This is actually a question? I guess we could be going to the Anderfelds...

Unless something very very strange happens, I think we'll be seeing Tevinter soon.

I think it will be in Tevinter but what I'd like is to know a lot more about the Grey Wardens and what is happening to them. And no, I don't mean that I want to see the Grey Wardens destroyed so if that is what has to happen to them to be in the next game then I'd rather not see them in the game.

Personally I'd rather Rivain. Though partly because you can still have Tevinter involved in a big way, while also bringing in Qunari, the southern Chantry and an interesting culture of its own.

But Trespasser obviously suggested Tevinter was where we're going next.

I'd much rather go to Antiva or Rivain than Tevinter. The only way I'd be interested in going to Tevinter is if we get to bring their current system down.

I loooooove Tevinter, and I'm hoping that's where the next game is set. I have my fingers crossed.

Other places I absolutely want to go: Seheron, Par Vollen, revamped Orzammar, and Kal-Sharok.

This is the BSN. If you asked if EVERYONE wanted to enjoy simultaneous eternal youth, perpetual health, and inexhaustible wealth, somebody would say no just to be contrary.

But it's pretty safe to say that we'll be heading north. Sounds good to me, but I'm not picky. There are still lots of places in Thedas I'd like to see.

No. I want it to be set on different locations. Tevinter might be the starting point, but I want to see the remaining 90% of Thedas, which, after 3 games, has only been rumoured to exist.

As far as I know, Rivain is a legend, Antiva is a desert, Nevarra has dead people, Seheron is an island full of fog and the Anderfels is...what? An arid wasteland?

I didn't get to spend enough time in the hinterlands in DAI so my vote is to spend more time with Lord Woolsley and his friendly bear pals.

Everything seems to be indicating Tevinter and I'm happy with that. But I wouldn't be disappointed if we went somewhere else, I'm still hoping to see Rivain one day.

On one hand, I'm extremely curious about Tevinter.

On the other hand, Bioware tends to suck at designing urban areas, so.........

I'm all for Tevinter provided we do get to see the places we've heard about; in particular Minrathous.    When they said we were going to Orlais I thought that we would see a lot of Val Royeaux but in particular the Grand Cathedral we'd heard so much about.    Then all we got was a small market place and café that to be honest could have been just about anywhere if you took away the masks and the accents.

So wherever we go I'd like it to match what we've previously been told.     If we go to the Anderfels I want to see the gigantic statue of Andraste.   If we go to Rivain I want to meet their wise women and for the culture to be distinctly different from the Avaar, not just a rehash.    If we go to Tevinter I want to see more than just a small segment of Minrathous and I want it to look impressive yet have a slightly faded glory, as is described in Asunder, and the buildings to look different from down south because according to Dorian they haven't done much modern building but cling on to the past.

Honestly, I'd love to see The Anderfels or even Nevarra.  That isn't to say I would be displeased with Tevinter, and it most likely will be there, but it wouldn't have been my first choice.

This is the BSN. If you asked if EVERYONE wanted to enjoy simultaneous eternal youth, perpetual health, and inexhaustible wealth, somebody would say no just to be contrary.

Seek not the West.  Embrace the gift of Eru, young Númenórean.

Well I don't know what Tevinter looks like

For all we know we'll only see the bazaar of the Tevinter Imperium and not Minrathous itself

Not really. But that's where the game is pretty much screaming that we're going.

I do hope we can burn it to the ground. Though I doubt we will.

No preference.  But I certainly expect it to be in Tevinter.

But if it turns out to be Nevarra, or the Anderfells, or somehwere else, I'll be fine with that too.

I want the next game to be set in the north, not necessarily Tevinter per say.

I'd say if I had any preference, I'd want it to be set across multiple nations or places.

The place doesn't matter that much to me. If Bioware think they can make a good story in Tevinter then I'm fine with that.

Adnerfels is really my most wanted area, but that is mostly because of the three Grey Warden stories they have teased in the area.

Well, I certainly do, but I'm sure not "everyone" does. The number probably is pretty high, though :P.
