sure I want buy a game with a assemblage of the previous hero. It will be great that for the fifth, all of our heroes appear for a final clash vs the tyrant elder elf king, .... the old god fight before they were considered as a god by the elf folks and the true owner of the empty throne in the gold/black city.
Just curious, would you buy a DA game if...

Nope. Not a big fan of returning characters in general. These are not contiguous stories. These are meant to be different stories showcasing the Dragon Age of Thedas. Having the same characters keep showing up in each one means that the whole of Thedas is not a very exciting and diverse place full of people willing to step up to the plate and fulfill their places in history. It just shows that a couple messiah type characters are the only ones capable of saving the world. That to me is rather dull.

Nope. I am on board for a Inquisitor PC returning again in DA4 to finish the Solas story, but only if they are complemented in a story with a New Tevinter PC (A Dual PC System). Bioware did a pretty good job setting up an intriguing dynamic between the Quizzy and Solas in "Trespasser" and that is really the only reason they get a pass from me for ONE more game.
As for the HoF and Hawke, their stories done. HoF (assuming they survived) is just looking for a way out of their Blight situation. Hawke either settles down in Kirkwall to help Varric run it, or is trapped in the Fade (and may show up in some form or another for a role in a future game if we ever go back in there ... but it will be minor if that happens).

The HOF, Hawke, and the Inquisitor will be your permanent PCs & companions? The other characters will be relegated to cameos or guest companions.
Joke answer...
So, can I romance myself?!
Serious answer...
Sorry, but this sounds REALLY damn boring.
Use of the terms "cameo" or "guest" implies that the roles of those other NPCs would be pretty small, meaning that they would have less exposure and likely be less developed as a result. But Bioware excels at creating different followers and interactions between the player and various followers, so that would be hurt as a result.
Also of course would be the fact that those other PCs-turned-NPCs now belong to Bioware. It's one thing to have a third-party Hawke in a relatively small role in DAI. As irksome as it was to hear her harping on about blood magic, it was only for a brief time. But generally the character would be nothing at all like how I made them, so what is the point? Only to have the Super Awesome Team of Thedosian Heroes? That can't be the only draw here...
Also, I really doubt we will ever see the Warden again. I think they are too wary of having to use a voice for that character. And no, they aren't going to have the Warden be a silent NPC while everyone else talks.

No. I hate cameos and returning companions and although I want DA4 to be played as the inquisitor stopping Solas, I want all other characters to be new.

Doesn't matter to me. If it's a Dragon Age game, I'll always buy it. However the HOF is dead more often than alive, so it's pointless to include them, and now Hawke can also be dead in many PT's, so it wouldn't work, but it would be funny.

I don't want any PC returning if I can't control their dialogue. Bioware can't account for every variation on your character, Hawke has the least variation and even they didn't work, but they can provide a dialogue wheel so you can pick what works best.
If my ex-pcs became companions then I wouldn't have control of their dialogue, so I don't like this idea.

Honest answer: I would be willing to consider buying any game set in Thedas, even Nug Simulator 3000. But this sounds like a bad idea - I just don't see how the Warden and the Inquisitor, in particular, could work as companions. And who would we romance?
You'd get that dwarf romance you've always wanted.
It'd be a weird romance, but you'd get it.

Only if you make them look like you. I always treated the PC's as separate characters in the story, rather than inserts of myself.

Well, it wouldn't be far off from rolling a KE Inquisitor, Vivienne and Solas with their specs maxed out. I had that party combo with Sera tagging along and I'm sure they could kill the Maker himself if he dared showed his face on the battlefield.
