This happened to me too...well not the picture, hehe. Still missing Hakkon great sword after what must be 300-400 total runs. Last week got a second hakkon dagger and this week I thought I was sure to get it. Nope. Next month I guess.

I've really only been interested in the PI amulet since all my Hakkons and stamulet dropped from dragons before the book chests came out.  Last week I think I got Rime, Dancer's Axe, and Bosun's Blade and this week I got the Knight's Second, Valos Atredum, and my second hakkon dagger.  Womp womp

This time around, after sacrificing countless mosquitos to the RNG, I got the PI, Bolt, and Rime. So happy about the PI ammy! I am happy about Bolt and Rime too as I need them for the Crescent.

 

And the best part is that just before opening the chests, we were doing NM and I finally got the Hakkon bow too. Yey! Sacrifices to the RNG work.

Just started playing recently (got the GOTY edition). Wish I knew you had to complete all the 1 million experience achievements to get anything good from the chest rewards. Got some stupid rogue drakescale armor instead. Yay waste of time.

 

Is there anywhere posted that says what you have to do to get certain pieces of gear? It feels pretty obnoxiously frustrating not having any instructions when it sounds like you have to do several different things to even get a chance at getting certain gear.

I got a max damage Crescent Shadow. 

 

I am soooo disappointed with this weapon.  Three balls flying randomly around never hitting anything 75% of the time. 

 

This weapon is not what I'd thought it would be.

Even when the weapons were first only obtainable through NM Dragon wins there really wasn't any kind of directions, you just had to be on the forums to find out. Many had asked for some sort of official announcement but it never happened. Now you can get th from chests and I'm not sure about the Dragon wins anymore. It used to be you needed to get the lvl. 27 blue from a Dragon kill on perilous or above and if you had the blue in your inventory you had a chance to get the purple from subsequent drops at a very low rate.

This weapon is not what I'd thought it would be.

But they are still there though. And when they do land, they hit VERY hard lol. And they land frequently enough for a scrub like me to grab 90% of the kills from those HB runs when all we get is RT.

Often the mobs dies by projectiles before I can even reach them lol. They just fly ahead and kill everything for me

Finally finished with one last solo game late last night....well late for me....anyways, I got the Hakkon two hander, the Rime sword (my one and only lvl 27) and the amulet of physical immunity.

 

I actually feel I don't deserve the hakkon, most other people had to slave over fc nightmare for many games.

 

What exactly does that amulet do?  I have not really paid any attention to the discussions about it.

So pretty well for fighter types.  I've been playing he two archer classes the keeper and the ele mostly lately.  Sounds very useful indeed.  Does it work vs the leaping horned ones as well?

Amulet should have been the final item in game...not the Crescent.

 

It is by far the most overpowered item in the game.

I have one lvl 27 left to go and will have all required items for Crescent once I get that last one. If I don't find it in the chest I buy with gold coins, I'm sure I will get it in the last book and the Crescent....

The way rng is working I should get two Crescent's. Being it did not identify that I already had a hakkon dagger in my inventory.

Btw, got 2nd Dragon dagger also in this last chest, so expect to get another in book victory chest if you don't already have two

PI is the best item in the game no question.  I forgot to put it on my reaver for a match, glad my mic was off that game...

With that I have completed the requirements for the Crescent (hopeful  ).

Can't play much this weekend and I still have 2 factions to finish... don't even remember which ones hehe.   The good part is one of the victory chest from the 3 factions I finished got me a bloody bargain!   That thing is awesome now I am running around like a speed demon.   I put the superb belt of urgency too one some of my rogues... wonder how fast they could run away before they die LOL?

 

Does total HP including like a 200 HP belt affect amount of guard?   If I put belt of urgency on my SS instead of 200hp, does she have less guard? hmmm
