Congrats man!!
Game has gotten a lil interesting now huh?
It has - I am enjoying playing the Dancing Avvar Who Can't Get Knocked Down ![]()
What does it do other than avoid knockdown? I am not concerned with knockdown with my characters that have leaping shot or frost step etc.
Ah, but you no longer have to put points or waste mana/stamina on those skills, freeing up your builds for higher DPS options (particularly true with respect to Combat Roll) ![]()
You will just show up at the start of the next zone if the door is already opened.
Then Hang3d Man won't even thank you for saving him the time. Immersion.
I'd jump off this pier...and scream to the heavens how I'll have my revenge.
It's already up on youtube. Have Snakebite send you a link.
I think Crit Chance on bow grip > HOK for us with low cunnings. CWN could always use two 2% HOK rings for an awesome 4% HOK which was what I did before I got the 10% HOK ring.

Edit: I just realized you mentioned all you have is a 2% HOK ring. Don't even bother with the critical chance grip. You need the HOK from the upgrade, I think Third would agree.
(and yes, I do have two 2% HoK rings.)
lol i just a few weeks ago figured out how to do these book quests. So slow to catch on.
Fixed it for youOn one hand, I agree Heal on Kill is a must. Another thing I agree is that Critical Chance isn't a must since if you die you don't do damage, which defeat the purpose...On the other hand, I think 2% is not enough to make a difference. The lower your Health and Constitution are, the lower the effectiveness of that 2% is gonna be. If you get killed in less than 3 shots, 2% Heal on Kill wouldn't change anything. For example, 2% of 500 HP is only 10 HP, where do you go with that?!?!?!Although, I'll gladly admit it's been way too long since I had only 2% Heal on Kill. I don't remember what it's like since I've been on the opposite side's of DragonRacer's luck, meaning I got my 10% HoK ring in the first 3 weeks.Well, then I'd try with a Critical Chance bow grip and use those 2 HoK rings. See how it goes for 10 to 15 games and if it really doesn't work for you then switch up to Heal on Kill. Don't forget to try Critical Chance again whenever you get that 10% HoK ring.Another thing that helps a lot is to craft the best armor you can for your Archer and Hunter. Since you're not especially high on stats, you might get better results not going for the Drakescale armor since that one has no %Range defense built-in.Fallback Plan, which has a good learning curve, and Leaping Shot will also increase your survivability.Good luck to you.
Huh?! Dude 4% HOK and 32% Critical chance is is no way shape or form better than 36% HOK and 20% critical chance....
Fixed it for you

You forgot the other bracket
Oh yes, I agree. I only use BSN on my phone lolThanks buddy. Mobile sucks and it's been a great night.

Heroic knows what's up. Pronto's chest actually contained a Knight's Second, a Bolt, and an Amulet of Physical Immunity. Literally the very next chest I bought for him contained a Brand. ![]()
Before salvaging it (the amulet, not the Brand), I decided to take it on a test run to see if it's all it's cracked up to be.
It's not even good. I don't know why everyone makes such a big fuss over it. Trust me Proto, you will thank me later. ![]()

Caved in and just opened my book 4 chest there. Got Hakkon 2 hander, Hakkon Bow and a lvl 27 sword. Happy about the 2 hander but sad that I salvaged the Hakkon staff a while ago (I want it back!).
Wont quite make it to the Cresent sword even with book 5; i think I need at least 1 more item as well as another book reward to get that weapon.
4% HOK from rings means you need to make sure you put HOK on your weapon.
Period. Use critical chance rings.
For Perilous though, I will use my Heartstring + Traps.
That's what I use too! With the built-in HOK and Crit Chance grip it is pretty awesome. And I like the 1% HP per hit means every leaping shot is like 12% HP without killing anything on bosses. Now if the Hakkon bow has the 1% per hit... would it be like a 36% HP restore per leaping shot?
BTW, whenever someone leaping shot over my head, I kept looking around for the Qun jumping guy.. and then.. oh it is just you.

I am 95% positive that it is always 12 shots no matter what bow you use..correct me if I am wrong (with proof of course) please lol
You're right. It's only the auto-attack that fires triple shots... or is it? Maybe you need to re-install to do some tests. ![]()
I'll let you in on a little secret..it is on my buddies laptop (sweet gaming laptop lol). I'm 95% positive that the triple shots are only basic attacks not all attacks...would be awesome though...triple long shot! xDYou're right. It's only the auto-attack that fires triple shots... or is it? Maybe you need to re-install to do some tests.
