You mean informative threads happen here?

Wait... you think that not knowing if there was even going to be an ME4 would have somehow led to fewer crap threads? That's crazy talk.

It would have because people would have nothing new to look forward to and sooner or later they'd move on. It happens all the time. Know what this place currently looks like? Like a rich old fart is dying and all the relatives and non-relatives are gathered around to incessantly discuss the contents & recipients of the will.

No terrible idea. Dont like what you see then do visit the forums bub.

Are you dyslexic?

It didn't happen at all during the years before the announcement.  There used to be threads often during that period about how Bioware should just announce the game already, since that would magically get rid of all the troll posts and speculations overnight.  The release of the game will not stem the tide, it'll just change the subjects.

You worry about informative posts being lost.  You don't have to; if a bit of news comes out, five threads will be started within seconds of it happening.

Even if true-- and it isn't -- this is a profoundly silly complaint. If you'd rather the board died out rather than talk about silly stuff, then why do you care what happens on the board? Just don't show up.

These forums are always silly. Its just a matter of the manner of silliness.

It definitely doesn't need to come out yet; they can take all the time they need to make the game good. What they do need to do, however, is to release a bit more information so that we'll actually have something concrete to talk about, instead of silly ideas and speculations (not that I'm against them or anything).

We are still a good year away from ME:A launching. So until Bioware releases some info about the game, expect things to stay like this. Hopefully we get some info on N7, because we are overdue for something.....anything!

Because this place is indescribably atrocious right now. Filled to the brim with ideas & theories that will never be implemented and stupid threads that clog up the drain on a daily basis. God forbid if an informative post turns up, it will get buried within the hour by all the crap threads people make.

That seems like a real stupid reason to release a game a year prematurely.

This is why you should never announce a game too far ahead of time. Announce and release within 12 months. Nevermind the whole rushing thing, just start developing without telling anyone until it's at least in beta condition or early release-candidate.

Yeah, crappy forums doesn't seem like a good enough reason to justify bad business practices.

Are you new to the internet? Every forum is like this. Be it, movies, games, music and whatnot. Tons of filler, trolls, crappy posts (like this one) and the ocasional informative thread.

 I know, right?

It's not just forums. The internet is a vicious and nonsensical place.
