I got to the end of Mordin's mission, told him I wanted to look around. Now I'm trapped in the room unable to leave.
"pressing b to end the mission" results in Sherpard widly elbow butting the air.

no response on this one eh? I'm trying to get the answer also. i choose chat game support. it failed the first time after i waited thiry minutes. i got through the second time on game support, another 30 minute wait, and when i get through, the guy tells me that i am connected to tech support, that he can't help me and to browse the web or post here and another player will answer. you have to love that a company who makes a game refuses to support it and relies on other. the web has nothing, and i'm supposed to excpect gamers to explain how to deal with a bug because the company that made the game doesn't care about the people who shelled out the money. last bioware/ea game i ever buy.

go to the door at the end of the room or talk to Mordin again.

What door? You can't even talk to your team like the first one... /sigh this game is full of bugs I always end up stuck or inside walls/roofs

you may have to eat this one guys... It sucks, but loading from your last save is the only option from that point if you cant get out after retalking to Mordin and saying you want to leave and the door is locked. I had to redo fights do to bosses getting suck in geometry or other glitching and there is nothing at the moment that can resolve it other than your last save point or if you dont save often (after each fight or major conversation), then you have to restart the mission.

No you don't... there's an autosave RIGHT before the room with the final conversation.

Yeah, I ended up having to reload, the second time it worked correctly

I mentioned your last save, so if you get an autosave right before the room, that counts as a "last save" does it not? LOL! And if that doesnt then the last manual save would count instead right? Im just checking...

It bugs me that right now chances are Bioware is working on a DLC instead of fixing these bugs.

Actually they are working on both. In another thread where a bug was brought up a dev mentioned that said bug would be fixed "in an upcoming dlc"
So I'd guess that when the next 'big" dlc comes out, it will include some bug fixes.
In order to keep people from starting up some kind of "money for patch argument". Remember that the next "big dlc" we know of will be the Hammerhead, which will be free.

I would hope not. Not with all the hundreds of bugs still crawling in this game.garrythegeld wrote...

Bioware, you better be reading all the feedback on these forums.

I know this is Mass Effect's forum but I want to bring up Dragon Age as an example. It has tons of bugs but is getting relatively many DLCs. I hope that Mass Effect's development team does not take this path because it would be a severe blow to the quality of Bioware's products and the company's prestige as whole since this money-centric behavior would be repeating. Having said that, this bug is tiny and there's an autosave less than one minute away so this one isn't a big deal.

I am 99.9% sure that Bioware reads our feedback
