That's just antiquated fantasy talk. "My man" means "my subordinate."

Now I pause and laugh at Dennet's wife calling him her man. She must wear the pants. Probably does if you read the landmark tree  :D

EDIT: No, wait, I was mistaken.

In any case, you'd think Charter would be a LITTLE upset if she and Butcher were together.

Charter says "my man Butcher", so either she was married to him or they were involved. If he were just another spy, I don't think charter would have referred to him like that.

I think she just meant he was her agent.  He's her man in the field.  She flirts with Scout Pellian in her Haven converstations.  Also, I'm holding out hope for Charter as a major character and LI in DA4.

Yeah... agree with evil here. I've heard the entire chain of dialogue between Charter and Scout Pellane numerous times, as well as her remarks about Butcher, and have never gotten the sense that Butcher was her man in a romantic sense. I mean, the Inquisitor can say that of pretty much everyone under his command as well. "My pauldron was cutting into my shoulder blade, so I had my man Harrit fix it for me."

But, with such a line it really depends on the person saying it, their tone, and so on. I don't think I would like my Inquisitor to refer to, say, Harding, as "my woman Harding," even if I know he wouldn't mean anything by it. Perhaps it's just my modern sensibilities or something.

For Suledin keep, I think the "back way" the person is referring to is the alternate path you can take through the storage area, allowing you to bypass both of the giants. It's easy to miss if you're going by and just focusing on the path ahead, but if you look toward the left wall as you're going along you'll spot it. Or... the person could be referring to the whole Ardent Blossom thing, which I would have never known about had I not seen it on the internet. I mean, who randomly jumps on a tiny stone "house" 50+ times??

You actually don't have to jump at all. Find the cave, quick save, reload, and the "place" icon will be there as if you jumped yourself silly. I discovered that by accident when I mis-jumped and reloaded. Did it again next game just to check and same thing happened. In my current game, I actually did the jumping, but I think it was maybe only 20 times. Possibly less. But yeah, I never would have known about it either but for reading stuff here.

As for something new discovered, for the first time I found the Emprise stalker's body and final journal entry over by the Highland Ravager arena entrance. Coming out of the arena, go around to the right.

^ Wow you are awesome. The last time I had to do that it was SO annoying. Though I suppose the bonus was that I took so long I got a party banter during it >.>.

Vivienne complimented me on my use of the Andrastian Throne during the "clothes make the man" cutscene.  I usually use the default so I was pleasantly surprised.

Only thing I have found out new was from my husband.

When you judge the mayor of Crestwood and are allied with The Grey Wardens you have the option to send the mayor to them.

Never knew that before.

I... never knew that. But it makes sense. After all, you can avoid much toil and drudgery with Lord Trifles Minutiae and that Chantry sister in the Hissing Wastes if you find them once, talk to them, and then quick save/quick load your way through the remaining conversations. When you reload, you will have the opportunity to talk to them again, saving yourself from having to search the map looking for them again.

Wish I would have realized that in my last game. I wandered for hours days a really long time trying to find her the fourth time. I loved Bull's reaction though, so having it take forever was mostly worth it.

The key to triggering banter finally revealed! Jump up and down for 15 minutes. Your companions will talk amongst themselves while pretending not to notice you are clearly losing your mind.

So, I've played through the game way too many times - seriously way too many - and I'm still finding new stuff. Earlier this playthrough, I met Charter in Haven. I had no idea, but apparently, she has an entire chain of dialogue with Scout P-something (sounds like Pollain). And just a few moments ago, I found a chest in Redcliffe that I didn't know existed (to the right of the gates as you enter), and last playthrough, I found an entire new way to get into Suledin Keep.

Did you find a chest you didn't know about? A new way to resolve a quest? Please share discoveries you made during recent playthroughs!

I hang around Charter and Scout Pellane in every game so I can hear all their dialogue. In my imagination, they eventually become an item and once they retire they get married and have baby Charter-Pellanes.  :D

There are a LOT of NPCs that have the wrong voices around Haven.
