Over this weekend (or whenever anybody is interested in doing it...), I am advocating two new Events! Anyone interested in hosting a lobby at some point over the next two days, feel free to give me a heads up, or just start up your own groups at will.

"Four Minstrals: Songs about beer, or other libations!"
(*personal libations - optional.*)
A relatively simple concept, but with a few twists. If you just feel like playing it as a free for all, go for it. However! If you are interested in switching things up a bit, try this out for a while. Each team member is dedicated to "one song".
Since these Events encourage some chitchat, in between matches groups can swap song types amongst each other. No need to feel hampered by only one role. Mostly, this idea is to help those (including myself 
), who are not very familiar or adept with our Hot Licking Libationist.As always, screenshots are encouraged!

SYNERGY: STORMING THE CASTLE!
Team play at it's finest! Again, rather basic idea: Take a group of four, well balanced for combos/support/damage, and move up the difficulty of Ferelden Castle, as your team levels up. Here is a rough guide people can use, but by no means needs to be strictly followed.
1) For those new to the game/low promotions and gear = Routine/Threatening/Perilous
2) Those with a few more promotes under their belt, and a bit higher gear = Threatening/Perilous/Nightmare
3) And for the pro's = Perilous/Nightmare/HB
All teammates start with level one characters, and should take into consideration the following: support, combo detonators, sunder, stun/knockdown/stagger, bleeding, weakness, and freeze/chill.
The goal is to see a lot more of those Combo medals, at the end of the matches. It is also a great way for those wanting to try harder difficulties, to finally take the plunge, giving everyone a role to participate! This play-style highly encourages communication, once again. If you don't have a mic, look at opening a Chat lobby for all teammates to join, so all can text each other during and/or between matches.

Last weekend - Halloween to be precise - BW was kind enough to give us a spider fest. That oh-so ever elusive challenge of killing spiders might now be within reach....or more than 20??
The key though, was you had to play Routine. Yes promolords and scrubs (actually, I have no idea what the definition of a scrub is, in relation to DAIMP ), to get this gift from BW, you had to succumb to the lowly nether regions of the Routine difficulty.SO! In order to make it somewhat more interesting - and considering that there were a mix of leveled players who might participate (myself being quite noobish, for example), there was one rule: You could only use Level One characters. An optional rule (that most took to heart
), was to use low end gear and/or novelty items. For example, I donned the Spoon for my 2hnders, and a "Raider's Hatchet" for my Lego. Hrungr found use for the Jade Ham (he decided to cook it with a fire rune 
), and most others put on their best starting armor to boot!And now for the pictures.

OH! And finally...a cautionary tale, on how easy it is for even someone with decent promotes, can get a little too confident.
