I've been at skyhold for a while now. I'm going to start 'Wicked eyes and Wicked Hearts'. I have a lot of loose ends not done yet. (I mean a lot too) Can I do them first and then start the wicked quest, or should I do that and then mop up my loose ends. Is there a place I can hold for a while and do other stuff, without getting to high a level. And end up not being able to do the main quest anymore? ![]()

Don't do "What Pride Has Wrought" anything else is fine. Complete all your companion stuff before "What Pride Has Wrought" and you won't miss anything important or level up too fast.

You're never going to reach a point where content is cut off because you are over-leveled. Last playthrough, I did Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts at 23rd level. I had Even Ground turned on, and it was great. So don't feel that you have to rush the main quests in order to avoid being over-leveled for them. On the other hand, you aren't going to get shut out of content if you go do WEWH and then come back and tie off all your loose ends.
In Your Heart Shall Burn is the turning point in the game. Some early quests become unavailable after you establish yourself in your new stronghold, and others are not available until you do.
What Pride Had Wrought is another turning point, but only with regards to companion quests. Any companion quests that you haven't completed when you go off to the Arbor Wilds will probably not be completable afterward.

Lol I completed everything before Doom Upon The World and ended up fighting a level 26 Cory. That was fun! He died in 30 seconds. ![]()

But the devs tried to do their best to make it so you didn't have to follow a line and that you wouldn't get locked out of content by level.
Just watch it at the Winter Palace, court approval is a killer.

Hidden Blades and a very powerful 400 Dps for my bow and arrow and Cole had over 500 for his Daggers.

Lots of Silverite, Dragon Bone and demon slaying runes. Those things are very high! I slayed all 10 dragons so I had lots to work with.
Edit: Oops that was the Trespasser stats lol I had 200 with my bow and arrow (Hidden Blades caused thousands of damage from both me and Cole) and Cole had over 400 to fight Cory. After JOH and Descent, I had a lot to work with and then upgraded them to 400 and 500!
These pics were just before I went to the Temple of Mythal!

Would a demon-slaying rune work against Corypheus? I know that runes inflate the DPS figure, but if the creature isn't vulnerable to it, you have to ignore the extra damage.
I've found that lightning runes, spirit runes, and cleansing runes are best for the final fight.

All I used were demon slaying runes for me and Cole had one demon slaying rune and one cleansing rune and he fell so fast it shocked me. Solas had a spirit rune if I recall.
