Is it true that some wartable missions have new rewards. Is there a list? Nothing on wikia of what they are. Do these new items go into the nug for future playthoughs?

Yes, it's true. People here could probably come up with a list. And they do go into the big if they're schematics.

Off the top of my head, I can think of The Blade of Tidarion schematic from Stop War between Nevarra and Tevinter war table and Prismatic Great Axe schematic from Learn More About Dragons.

I don't have a list but most of the new rewards are sigils and armors. But those don't come with Patch 10, they come with Trespasser.

Ive heard something about winters breath staff, reaver armor but nothing organized for how to obtain them

Not sure how many there are in total, but I've compiled a little list from various sources:
 
Sentinel Plate (Ancient Elf Armor) - Research the Well of Sorrows Operation (Must have the Arcane Knowledge Perk, and chose the corresponding dialogue option when choosing who drinks from the Well to unlock)
 
Griffon Robes Schematic - Destroy Darkspawn Outbreak
 
Blade of Tidarion Schematic - Stop War Between Nevarra and Tevinter
 
Griffon Plate Schematic - Judgement: The Good Works of Ser Ruth (Requires faithful Inquisitor who pardons Ser Ruth in Andraste's name)
 
Griffon Mail Schematic - Contact Hero of Fereldan
 
 
Also some of the specialization operations give new rewards as well:

 

Break [Reaver]: Disciple's Armor

 

Smash [Tempest]: Alchemical Rigging

 

Endure [Templar]: Bownammer Plate (Only with Cullen)

 

Inspire [Champion]: Brand (With Josephine or Cullen)

Some minor rewards have also changed. For instance, after finishing the main Fallow Mire quest you get a war table mission about finding a new road through the Frostbacks near the Mire. Before Patch 10 choosing Cullen or Leliana would reward you with influence and Josephine would give you gold; now all options reward you with a Valuable (a gemstone).
