So I finished the monthly challenge and I have the 5 chests to redeem.

However I seem to read everywhere on that you shouldn't open chests and you should save them until you have better weapons so you can get more chance to get other better weapons?

Or something like that.. not sure if I understood correctly. How am I supposed to get better stuff then? 
Or this is only for high end players? 

Btw I just started last month and don't have any single 26 or 27 weapon... just a lvl 24 dagger of the dragon

Should get the 3 class based chests first. The experienced Mage, Rogue, Warrior achievements done first.

Yes, finish the armor challenges (Experienced Rogue/Warrior/Mage) try to get a couple hakkons too if you can. Then open the victory chest. Do it before next month though otherwise you will lose it

Do you always get the Drakescale armor if you haven't gotten it all?

Ok, I've only got the warrior one left. Will keep until then - doubt I'll get any Hakkon anytime soon though XD

It seems that way. It seems like the victory chests were set up to give you either a drakscale armor, hakkons, lvl 26/27 if you don't have it. I don't know exactly how it works, I only had lvl 27s to get when this started. ThirdRace would probably know more

Thanks for the info. On a sort of related note, is it confirmed that we don't get weekend challenges anymore? Is it just this month's challenge and that's it, or will there still be something on the weekends? I don't want anything to override that chest but I've really let my mages slip behind and I'm not close to finishing that challenge, at least before the week is up.

Thanks for the info. On a sort of related note, is it confirmed that we don't get weekend challenges anymore? Is it just this month's challenge and that's it, or will there still be something on the weekends? No one but Bioware knows exactly, but its a safe bet that the weekend challenges are over and the monthly challenges are all thats left.

Mmmmh.. Is this always 100% true? Last weekend I got the victory chest from the 6 dragons and I already had experienced mage and rogue completed.. So I should have gotten either a 26/27 weapon or a Hakkon or a warrior Drakescale? I don't have any of these things yet. I didn't get anything relevant from that chest that I recall :/

Actually nevermind, I think he was talking about the chest for the book 3 total reward completion, not the weekly lame one I didn't get that cause I started after the challenge began so yeah.. that's why I didn't find any of those.
