Mercy Gordon
A bit older than the rest of the team, Mercy is a former detective. When pushed about why the former, she'll dismiss it with "I made a few stupid mistakes." She defends the letter of law and authority, and dislikes the player taking shortcuts. She's tactiturn and very private. She's seen extensive cybernetic modification, making her a formidable frontline bruiser. Her favorite combat style is to bullrush enemies and lay into them with her fist and omni-shield. Mercy is a tall, angular woman with black hair and amber eyes. Her hair's in a loose braid (AVAILABLE TO THE PC PLEASE), and streaked with a lot of grey.
Recruitment: Mercy is working a case as an independent private investigator. The PC has some interest in the case, and hears about her involvement from the local police, who mention she might have further information. She is found in a slightly scuzzy bar, arm-wrestling a krogan. It seems to be a draw until the PC interrupts, at which point Mercy will disengage and discuss matters with the PC. She will help them find the individual, and offer to join up as a chance to "Do some right". She can be rejected.
Loyalty: Mercy will ask the PC for help taking down a mercenary leader. If rejected, she'll leave the ship without a word, and nothing more will be heard. If taken on the mission, it will be a fairly standard "Storming the compound" moment, with lots of thugs. The leader can be heard throughout the mission, taunting the player and referring to Mercy as "Detective" or "Lawman". When finally confronted, it will be a fight against a vanguard styled asari -- Mercy and the leader will be engaged in melee, giving the PC a chance to attack from the sides and engage during a wave-style encounter with mooks. The mercenary leader can be killed or arrested and turned over to the authorities. Mercy will resist if you try to kill her, but can be persuaded it's necessary. Either way, she'll be cheerful afterwards and thank the PC for helping her balance the scales.
Romance: Nope. No matter the gender of the PC, if flirted with, Mercy will remark that Ryder isn't her type. She shows no particular interest in anyone, and no dialogues with her indicate hookups in her past.
(Okay yeah this is pretty much my first-playthrough PC style, but if there was a character like this I wouldn't always have to play one!)

Human soldier with notable Russian background - named, say, Foma Rastorguyev aka "Medved' ("The Bear"). Tall and massive, yet pretty quidk and agile (the "Bear" nickname stems from this fact), speaks with notable Russian accent (for instance, like that guy from the "FPS Russia"), foul-mouthed (swears Russian in combat), has a wicked sence of humour. Prefers big nasty guns and heavy armor.

So what? These two could be the best friends :-)) Already imagine the Krogan's phrase on first seeing the "Medved'" in action - "Huh, a human of nearly Krogan size and pretty much the same temper .....commands some respect, at least".
P.S. Yep, the Krogans are the alien race depiction of us, Russians, for the "collective West" - and that's why I like them.

LOL
Name: Mary Coppett "Ms Nightingale"-Field medic
race: Human
Brief description:
while an older woman (68), she has still remained a successful field medic despite initial expectations of her remaining life, as she has been recently diagnosed with a rare hereditary/genetic form of terminal cancer that causes neuro-degenerative sheathing and other forms of brain damage. She knows that death races after her as her symptoms gradually begin to manifest; Yet for the meantime she is still a part of the pathfinders initiative.
Appearance:
She is relatively short, with a heavy resemblance to Judi Dench (ideally voiced by her too). She has rejected the life enhancement procedures easily accessible, as with her fixation on the effects and "purity" of age. On missions she wears a white winter armour (fur linings etc.) with a visor covering her eyes (similar looking to a kuwaashi) and a small semi-transparent breather mask covering her mouth and nose. The Armour has unique tubes containing shining white liquid that stretch across her limbs to a bunch of ports at the back of the head and spinal column.
On the ship she wears either a comfortable beige bathing robe with noticably thinner tubes or a lab coat when she is researching medicine (tubes also present)
Personality:
Despite being seemingly cold upon initial impression, the ice will melt over time and she will become a more maternal figure with a slight compulsion to nose into the squads' business. She doesn't want to cause harm upon others. She holds strong ethical codes against psychologically harming patients, though she often contradicts this ethic by droning on about mantras as is compatible with her obsession with age. She often provides steady stream of conversation with brief flashes of bitterness about the effects of age and illness. Her particular scattered flashes of fear are more towards the fact that an inevitably slow and agonizing death awaits for her. She does however, show pride in her "miracle liquid", which she has formulated to slow the effects of her incurable cancer. This liquid also enhances her inner skeletal-muscular structure which makes her combat capable.
She gets along with respectful squadmates yet shows a high annoyance/disdain to those more insubordinate characters. She admires the player when they allow her to utilise her field experience to heal innocents who may need the help.
Combat:
She uses pistols only
She has a special injector filled with a paralyzing poison she can use on enemies at close range to leave them vulnerable.
-Supply pylon
-Healing grenade
-Pacify- a small gas pellet in thrown at the enemies, covering a certain radius anmd slowing down movement speed.
-Buff (loyalty skill)- Mary has lethal concentrations of her fluid pumped into her, enhancing movement speed and accuracy.
She has low durability
Loyalty mission:
Mary has multiple medical companies with an interest for her "miracle liquid" as a method of gaining profit. It will be heavily emphasized as more and more medical reporters/journalists try to gain insight and even on one occasion, a sample. All attempts can be easily thwarted, yet one seemingly slips through the cracks, gaining a sample as noticed by Mary, who becomes increasingly more agitated about the possibility that her liquid may be used to gain profit, as she mentions to have it tailored specifically to DNA. When asked about what the effects would be if someone else used it, she informs you that "horrible mutations will occur."
You and Mary have to explore different medical facilities Mary suspects has her liquid. As you explore the facilities, getting into unwanted fights, each hospital leads to a dead end further frustrating Mary. Each facility has different architecture with varying puzzles that can be sold to attain bonus upgrades and stat bonuses. At the fourth hospital, You finally hit a lead. As you make it to the research labs, a medical report can be found revealing that a few subjects have already undergone trials. You will find a mutated Batarian strapped to a bed at the edge of mania. He will mention how they went to X12F8 (a private space station owned by the medical company (Orlax). He will then break out of the restraints on the steel table, and attaxk the player with brutam melee assaults. When placed at low health, the player will end up being faced with a choice to end the life of the severely mutated batarian or hold him prisoner on the ship. (The tempest contains a few cells for those who should be imprisoned.)
The player can either take the appreach of an all-out assault or stealthy infiltration, thought these approaches yield different benefits. An all out attack reduces the amount of enemies on the ship, yet also destroys crycial data that can gain the player a special loyalty bonus from Mary and narrative appeal. Of course, the opposite effect occurs when the stealthy approach is taken. Both of these approaches are ultimately placed at a halt when multiple different types of mutated patients interfere with the fight, slaughtering the personnel and attacking the player. It can be noticed that the mutations vary according to race. When the station is cleared, the boss of the corporation (who is extensively modified) threatens to kill both them and Mary. The player can seemingly persuade her to see the error of her actions and offer her help to those still mutated, or fuel her anger and kill her. On the instance that the boss attacks, the player and Mary kill her and reclaim all copies of the sample as well as medical information. The player and Mary will attain the data and be on their way. The loyalty mission is complete.
If the boss is seemingly persuaded, She will mortally wound Mary when both the player's and Mary's guards are down. the player instantly shoots the boss in the head. The medical data and sample copies will be attained (though how much depends on the approach of attack on the ship) yet Mary has to be rushed to the medical department. For the next few missions she will be unavailable as a squadmate, though she will recover (partially). She will show slight resentment towards the player as her injury has now shortened her already tiny suration of life left, though she has a half-loyalty as the player was able to complete the mission. Her durability is also reduced by 50%.

Some more background on my Foma Rastorguyev (not as detailed, as the TS does, but anyway).
Background. Born 2149 in Tyumen', East-Siberian Federal District, Slavic Confederacy (one of relatively independent state entities inside the Alliance), Earth. Hereditary career military. Was conscripted to the Spaceborn Troops, served there for two years as a soldier, became the master sergeant, deputy platoon commander till the end of the conscription service. Afterwards entered the Ryazan' Higher Spaceborn Command Academy and graduated from it as a Lieutenant in 2174. Was assigned as a platoon commander to the Spaceborn Assault Company of the 611th Detached Incursion Regiment. Served there until 2183, was promoted to the captain and commander of the Spaceborn Assault Company. Participated in Scillian Blitz, his company was first to land onTorfan and establish a foothold there.
After quitting the state service joined the "Acanthus" private military company and already from there passed to the pathfinders.
Combat. The Spaceborn Troops are rapid deployment forces, which often act as vanguard in planetary operations. They are dropped from the shuttles at heights of 2-3 km without any kind of need to land the shuttle - pretty much like the armored infantry from the "Section 8" series - using the anti-grav parachutes for descent. . As for Spaceborn Assault units themselves - they are intended to spearhead the spaceborn operations. And they do so, using the potent jetpacks to both control the speed of descent and quickly move across the battlefield. In fact - they are non-biotic vanguards.
Their armor is heavy assault one with multi-mode backpack thrusters and serious shielding, often with additional layers. Main weapons are heavy assault rifles (aka battle rifles), rapid-fire assault shotguns - often with full auto or at least burst fire mode, various combi-weapons (rifle or shotgun with underslung grenade launcher).

Male human Infiltrator
Moral alignment: Renegon
He's the old mentor of the human soldier Adrian Blake. He sees himself as a righterous crusader who believes in saving humanity at the cost of cleansing it of impurity, namely criminals, alien factions, or humanity itself. He was a Cerberus officer, but word has it he still is...

Let's say I would love an asari squadmate (and romance) with a different body type than the one we have seen already in the trilogy, that would be awesome:

Not the worst clichee about us, I suppose - there are much worse ones. And - I like bears: one may sit and calmly looking at you one moment, and the next moment - can break your basis cranii (skull base) with a single swing of it's paw ... and continue sitting as if nothing happened :-))
P.S. Anohter species I ... if don't like, then respect at the very least - is rats. Yes, normal grey ones (Rattus norvegicus) - they are real monsters on their level.

However, as a reminder to everyone, Bio seems to have their own idea:
"... Play as the leader of a squad of military-trained explorers in an intense third-person shooter, with deep progression and customization systems.”
I get the feeling there are more humans than aliens in the squad.
