Online Pass not working with new game

Hello! I've recently bought a new copy of Mass Effect 3 and was eager to try out the multiplayer mode. However every time I put in the code it doesn't want to accept saying that my code is invalid/expired.

I know that EA does not use the pass anymore, so I looked in the PS store for a pass that I can get for free but I couldn't find anything there too.

I really don't know what to do, please help guys! Thank you.

That sounds really strange.

 

In theory, you should select "Redeem Online Pass" at the menu prompt, and the rest should happen naturally. If that returned an error code, then you will probably have to deal with tech support.

 

I'd recommend using EA's "call back" option, or calling them. They have other tech support options, but they are quite poor by comparison.

New codes are free and procedurally-generated. Before going to tech support, use the automated function to obtain and redeem a new code. I don't believe that I even had to enter the code manually when this happened to me. I'm pretty sure it was a two-click process (three at most.)
