I love this game's banter. I still think this is classic:

Alistair: One good thing about the blight is the way it brings people together

Elf PC: Your a strange human

Alistair: Your not the first to say that.

As of right now:

(roughly paraphrased)

Alistair: You are like this beautiful rose, a thing of beauty amongst all the dark and evil things of the world.
PC: Oh Alistair, I don't know what to say...
Alistair: Right. Now that the awkward emotional part is done, can we get to the naked steamy bits?
PC: ...And you were doing so well.

I like it better when you call his bluff and tell him to get our of his armor. So funny.

The best convo is when Waynne (might be spelled wrong the old lady mage you pickup in the tower) tells you about Grey Warden stories and in pretty much all the replies in the convo you can bug her about griffins. Something like:

Waynne: "What do you know about Grey Warden stories"

You: "blah blah.. they had griffins.."

Waynne: "Oh you are too late they died out a long time ago"

you: "Well I want a griffin"

Waynne: " Let me tell you a story about Grey Wardens...blah blah"

You: "Does it have Griffins in it?"

Waynne: "Its like talking to a child!"

You: "Well does it have griffins in it or not?"

Hahaha

I like the first time you try to kiss Morrigan, and she goes something like "Oh! That's a rather uncomfortably close position from which to have a discussion?!"

The dialogue is awesome. It always annoys me that I can't have all the party members along in one go, so I can hear what they're all saying to each other. I always feel like I'm missing out! :|

Dwarven Noble - At the provings:

Opponent: "It is an honor to fight you, my lord Aeducan"

PC: "I'll honor you upside the head!"

Another good one is a trinket I found on a vendor:

Glamour Charm: This minor magical charm captures the viewers attention and distra-... ooooo, pretty....

If you ever play the Human Noble origin, make sure you talk to young Oren before you run off to your room to start the night's events. My favorite line in the entire game is there. Whenever someone from QA discovers it, they generally find my office and stare at me in horror: "Dave, you're a MONSTER!"

It makes me giggle.

Take that, dire bunny! All darkspawn fear my sword of truthiness! - Oren

Would that be the line you are referring to? Would be the only relevant on I can remember considering the movie and the book series that comes to mind.

Morrigan and her mother in the Korcari Wilds cracked me up. I am also enjoying Leliana's attempts at writing a song describing how brave and loyal the dog is.

Is it the 'sword of truthness' line?

Heh, no. Feargus to Oren: "Don't worry, son. You'll see a sword up close real soon, I promise."

Female Dwarf Commoner, talking to the dude right outside your house. Tell him about his soft sceptre. Priceless.

Duncan: We must do whatever it takes to destroy the darkspawn... exciting or no.

Alistair: I get it, I get it. Just so you know, if the king ever asks me to put on a dress and dance the Remigold, I'm drawing the line. Darkspawn or no.

Player: You have some odd ideas about the king.

Alistair: I happen to be quite fetching in a dress.

Duncan: (Sigh)

Morrigan: "It's so cold in my tent...... All alone."

PC: "Get a thicker blanket"

I cried when I saw that. I should have picked that to see what she will say in return. But I took the "fun" option.

This game has some of the best dialogue I've seen yet.

One of my favorite conversations was with the "Poet Tree" (or a name alike)

Just the responses you had were hilarious,Along with his cheesey rhyming.

Can't remember the exact quote, but after being ambushed, Alistair said something to this effect:

Alistair: Nothing like a brush with death to let me know that I really don't like death.

About every third or fourth line of Morrigan's. The banter between Morrigan and anybody is particularly amusing, especially Bun-Bun.

Banter between Morrigan and Dog. Apparently Dog ate all of the herbs out of her bag and she was scolding him for it, also informing him that they were poisonous and he was lucky he isn't dead.

Dog: Bark

Morr: No, that does not mean you can have more!

Dog: *Whine*

Morr: We shall see.

Dog: *Happy Bark*

Morr: I said we shall see, I'm not making any promises.

Obviously Morrigan has a secret soft spot for Dog.

The Morrigan/Sten interactions are fantastic as well - she spends all sorts of time hitting on him to make him uncomfortable, and eventually he... Well, play and hear! Really funny though.
