So is December monthly the last one? Or do we get another monthly for Jan?
So sad...ME:A is just too far away. What do we do in the mean time?
Stop playing tacked on multiplayer games and actually commit to a game franchise with proven multiplayer longevity?
Yea I see the multiplayer as a fun side game with the single player as the main package. I have definitely logged more hours on the latter and if I get bored in the meantime I can go back to it anytime, it hasn't gotten stale for me yet.

Billy's answer from Twitter:
"December is the last one. Ends on the morning of January 4th."
Thanks DragonRacer
do we get another monthly for Jan?
I suspect 1/2 the playerbase will still get one ![]()
So guys there will be no events after 4th. Jan? Biower just stop to support DAIMP or in February we will get new weekend events or something like that?
End of DAIMP Support (events, updates) - End of Multiplayer mode for new players.
Probably 5 weapon challenge book for the month of december and it's over :/
Wow!!! They weren't wrong about supporting it "far beyond" Mass Effect 3.
If they intend to support ME:A for such prolonged period of time,I might buy it on some sale instead pre-order it on the first day when becomes available.

No more events. Nothing in February.
Servers will stay online.
End of events , not the end of multiplayer.
As for new players, they will have loads of challenges to get through.

For new players this means that there is actually no reason to start playing DAIMP. I now try to explain what I mean : if you don't play DAIMP casually but you want to reach a goal, the only one is being in the top 100 players. So you want to start gaining points but without new events, you won't be able to reach the people that already are in the top list. After completing the "standard" challenges, the only way to gain points is through promotion. But even here, new players are still unfairly incapacited to make a lot of points since the "promotion bug" has been patched (and abused by the first positions players).
So, why should I play this game anymore?
I bought the GOTY edition and loved the Multiplayer. I find that Bioware is really doing it wrong with new player like me and, after all, I paid as much as an "old" (because a year old game is not that old) player.

I'm in the top 100. Nobody cares/Very few people care.
There are 1075 challenge points up for grabs.
Currently you only need around 1300 to get on the leaderboard.
With noone else playing that is only 225 promotes..... actually 226 cause noone is getting Legendary Banker.
Get 4 promotions a day it's only 56 days.
You need to build up 80% Defence in each stats anyway.
People have quit in droves.
Anyone that wants to actually get on the leaderboard CAN get on the leaderboard.
But like I said, very few people care.
I play this game because I find it fun. When I stop finding it fun, I will stop playing.
As for the GOTY edition , I actually agree with you. It's not a new game though. It's an old game. Hell MP isn't even a "game", it was a tacked on afterthought of the Single Player, which only took off many months later when Dev's invested some time into it.
I will still be playing.... for now ![]()
So go have fun with it....until it stops being fun and stop worrying about weekend events.

I wouldn't have minded it ending after a year if we'd got quality content during that time period.

Well it took them a year to fix the game and it's still broken.
What a great year long beta test this has been.....

What? not a single like for post #12 @ 12:17 ?
Tough crowd.
