No one telling rape is good, well some could argue, man like sex more than women and man don't have consequences like pregnancy. And I dob't many male didn't like SIE "romance" in Alpha protocol. The problem is portrayal of stuff they want remove rape entirely like in DA:O city elf story, or this and this how about we remove murder we all agree murder is bad, than slavery I think you agree it's bad. If you remove stuff like this. Without slavery DA setting would fall.

That wasn't the point of the pictures. The point of the pictures was how ridiculous men looked making those poses yet how it's not considered ridiculous when women do it.

Did you even read what I write. that's exactly the point. Of course man look ridicules and women not man like then women do poses like that women don't like than man do poses like that. Male and female sex appeal. And man not even look attractive. You don't make unattractive fat man pose as attractive female and expect, I don't know what you expect. I If you sexualize women same as man it look as much ridicules.

But also, a blank slate dramatically increases replayability.  If there's only one character I can play, why play it more than once?

All a blank state increase is my boredom. Actually the more a character is fleshed out, the more I am willing to play more than once.

Okay. So what's your point again? How does this slot in with conversation? Are you against sexualization in general? Or do you want people to stop complaining about sexualization?

This my big problem with inquisitor he have one personality neutral. At least Hawke have 3. Warden was best he have good backstory and we can actually play it and it returns later in the game, and warden have best range of characters because it feels you have more options to establish your wardens character.

Hawke can switch that personality each Act (which helps with roleplay or conveying some new attitude change), as well as mixing it up with individual dialogue choices, while still retaining a dominant personality. I thought it worked out pretty well. In addition, it never gives a specific motive on why you're Aggressive/Diplo/Sarcastic. The companion rivalries and friendships help define the specific viewpoints. You could be Aggressive, but still friendly with Anders. Or Diplomatic, but aggressive with Anders. Or a mage or mundane but who's friendly or aggressive to him. And he acts entirely differently to these Hawkes. Same goes for the rest.

That's a lot of room to personalize, without even being a blank slate.

1)I write it 2 times if you still don't get it I don't know how else to say it "Male female sexualization is not the same, you can't just swap gender and expect same result.

2)Of course I am for. If creator of game wan't to make half naked people with breast bigger than my head and arms bigger than my all body fighting panda robots. S/he should have right to do do it without oversensitive bigots screaming change it we don't like it.

Right and my initial point was that I simply objected to female passivity that tends to accompany their sexualization, which is why I posted those pics, to showcase how men look ridiculous if burdened with the same aura of sexual passivity and how that should be ridiculous when women do it too. Not that sexualization in itself is bad because sexuality isn't bad. Now that we have that out of the way I would like to stop talking about this since it's off topic.

Good day to you sir.

I'm so used to Hale being the voice of my Shep that I didn't even realize that maleshep was excluded from the video until someone mentioned that fact on the forum.

Possible references to Sally Ride as inspiration for the new protag's name and Hale's voice over in the video just gave me good feels while watching the video! Good job Bioware!

If you think that bodybuilder poses are attractive to women in general and are sexualisation of men you are wrong about that as well.

By that reasoning we could censor everything if there are people that coud potentionally get violent over it, By that you're saying that it's de facto the publishers fault that people get murdered beceause of their freedom of speech, and in thay way you're effectively agreeing with terrorists.

Well last time I checked, the gay community aren't suicide bombing and committing public beheadings on people who don't agree with their way of life. So until that day comes, then we'll discuss your counterpoint and what our society should do from there.

I think they should have gotten MShep and FShep to do the speech together.  But overall I'm glad they picked FShep cause I can't picture my Shep (MShep) giving some goodbye speech to a bunch of aholes who should be aiding with the Crucible and fighting Reaper forces.

I'm glad they picked Hale as well but that's just because that voice is Shep's voice for me. It's nice to see the ladies get some love by the marketing department as well.

I think we're better off not discussing that first part in too much depth, but as for the rest, I think you're assuming other people's position more than you attend to the position that they actually make.

Sure, there are people who argue for the removal of subject matter that they don't personally care for. That's normal human conceit and self importance. I, however, didn't and wouldn't argue for the avoidance of any particular unsavory topics in fiction. I simply pointed out that your blanket statements about the relative concern towards female characters versus male characters as victims of assault are inaccurate. There are plenty of people who take issue with the often comedic and casual approach towards victimized men in fiction. Most of these are people who believe in the social equality of the sexes.

Maybe they did help with the crucible, though. Many of them might have completed assignments on the crucible before they were sent away. As for any military aboard, they are very certainly being ordered to go, however they feel about. I imagine that would resonate with Shepard, who wanted to stay with the fight on earth, but was forced to deal with the big picture instead.

The fight on Earth ended up sucking btw. In retrospect, being on a ship sounds better than that level. With it's lack of music, bland blues and greys, hologram farewells, no interesting multi-team suicide mission, no dynamics with all of my gathered armies, and speeches to characters I only partly care about.

I was happily ready to end the game by the time I got in the tower. I had no problem with the ending itself. ;)

You were doing well up until this part. There are no groups on earth that trivialize male victims more than feminists.

Running Erin Pizzey out of the country for saying men need domestic violence shelters too? Check.

Feminists suppressing evidence showing almost half of domestic violence is committed by women? Check.

Feminists disrupting various speeches talking about male suicide/mens issues? Check.

And don't respond by saying these people aren't real feminists. They are. How about trying to rid the movement of the bad eggs instead of defending the movement from those who take issue with the bad eggs.

Oh, and there are far more people who believe in the equality of the sexes who don't identify as feminists than than there are that do. They're either called egalitarians or don't feel the need to label themselves. Most don't wish to be associated with a toxic movement.

Er... while there are radicals out there and I think men's issues are under-acknowledged in general, I'm going to need to need some serious sources for these three.
