So why do people keep making threads about it then? Trailers are supposed to market to the uninformed who aren't already getting the game right? Nobody on the BSN fits that category, yet this is the second thread on this topic i've seen on this just in the last week. One of the longest running threads in the DA forums was about female representation in trailers. Why is everyone whining about it if the trailers arent for them anyway?

 

Even though the BSN gets obsessed over these things, they still bring up good points that the trailers still should do these things despite it not being entirely for them

I honestly like the sound of both voice actors a lot. Dude has one of those 'could entertainingly read a phonebook' voices and female is Jack.

Same here, but it looks like it has a shoulder/ME type of view too. I might just do that this time. It looks OK.

 

I'll have to see how it's done. Though usually I find the third person combat in Bethesda games to be very poorly done.

 

Of course I'm on PC, so there is always the option that mods might fix it even if it is poorly done again.

What Bioware could really stand to learn here is that it is imperative to have nice voices and nice asses for both your protagonists.

They did, but you can romance same sex companions, so sort of makes up for it.

The Pirate Ghoul? I don't think so. I think you can only romance human companions. I won't say for sure, but why would you go the Ghoul route anyway? Save yourself the pain and nightmares.

If this is anything like Skyrim it basically amounts to them not adding gender checks to their romanceable NPCs. Those perks come with dialogue options and alternate routes and that's like my crack. The only glimmer of hope in this dark night is that they renamed Black Widow to Man Hunter and some people are saying that you can pick the perks regardless of gender, if that's true I can see why they'd change it to Man Hunter because being called male Black Widow isn't particularly flattering.

Hmm... reading this thread proves that if BioWare did a trailer similar to the release trailer for Fallout 4 next year just before launch people will find fault with something about it.  The ebb and flow of these boards proves it.
