There is much talking about "what next" on this forums.
Without events new players dont have any reason to play this MP mode.
What about leaderboard?
Maybe we can extend it to 300 - 500 positions?
I think that this exstension is nothing for coders.

Players have wanted this from the beginning.Support is almost over,it's never going to happen.
Reason number 375 why Mass Effect MP was better than DAIMP. Mass Effect had a FAR FAR superior score board in every way. A good solid way of looking at your score. So apparently just to be different DAIMP decided to make a much much worse choice, why this kind of thing is done is mind boggling.
DAIMP, oh you are not in the top 100, you simply don't matter.
I hope to god as they are working on ME4MP they are going to think long and hard on many of these decisions, having two or three powerful team leads making all major decisions does not work.
Too bad that BioWare has essentially totally abandoned the social network and their fans because the very best way to avoid heinous decisions would be to look back on the past two mp games, contact a select number of fans who they deem credible and run most major decisions by them. Too bad at this point BioWare wouldn't know a 1st time player from a person who has logged 10,000 hours in one of their games.
We all fade out, but I have seen leaderboarders play like they gave their controller to a toddler.
Granted we never know what is going on their end, just yesterday I was mid match when the roast I was cooking set off my fire alarms because of steam from the oven vent. While I was dealing with this my three year old decided to play the game. But I digress...
The leaderboard is dumb, means nothing.
Not correct, same with in game scores.
It was always amusing to see all the people in ME3 mp who were very very good players say this until they found themselves not topping the score board as normal and their in game behavior changed almost without exception. It may not mean something to a lot of people but obviously it means something to some people.
Leaderboard is everything in everygame, peoples want to see what is the progress and how strong are they.
At this time i got 500 prestige and i dont see any sense to play this game, maybe i'll try to get this "superb weapons and stuff" but i dont have a look what is going up and under my position, maybe someone want to hunt my position and maybe someone is hunting him... to be continued.
But now - no reason for playing day more or even hour.
Today games are nothing much better then private servers in MMORPG's - 1st. weak is impossible to get spot but server is goin down after month.
Like in our "future" games.
DAIMP is the great position but basically there is no person to get this mode better then other titles.
What the **** is going on? 3-4 maps? No updates in equipment, no new runes and possible combinations - no new craft ideas to make game more build'able...
Make WorldEditor and community make more GB of playable maps then this game size is.
No comment for marketing...
Biower: Lets make MP free - we will get alot of player then end our support after 2 months. Just mwahaha. Thats sad.
PS> Only maniacs will play this Multi-Title becouse no one without help or good stuff will start the Multiplayer game from nothing.
Im know what im talking about becouse i just migrated from XBOX One so my 1000 prestige gone away and i just started from zero becouse of free ver. of game - updates and events...
Sometimes people play games to have fun too. As zambingo already said, this leaderboard is not much of a draw to players as it reflects time played and not skill. Anyone jumping into the game late has little chance to make it very high on the leaderboard. Sure, XP per hour is also reflected, but I don't know if I would exactly classify that as "skill".

And leader boards are not meant o show 'skill' or at least i never looked at them that way. Certain challenges and such relate to skill moreso however. Soloing things like HB in this game or platinum in me3mp was in my mind a skill indicator.
The thing that challenges and leader boards tap into is the human trait that likes to accomplish things as they play the game, meaningful or not. If there was no meanginful challenge system or point system a lot more people would deep 6 a game for the next new shiny game experience.

"Congratulations! You have wasted 1000+ hours on this game!" Not much of an accomplishment if you ask me. Many leaderboards do a far better job of at least indicating skill, whether it be score per minute, K/D ratios, etc. While each separate stat does not precisely indicate skill level, taking them as a whole can give much more insight into player skill than the DAMP leaderboard ever could.

A new/updated feature?

Sorry OP the only "new" thing left will be in a year or two when they shut off the servers
Leaderboard?
I hardly know 'er!
What? It's been, like... a week since last time.
Leaderboard is everything in everygame,
if ur not first ur last
DAIMP, oh you are not in the top 100, you simply don't matter.
You don't like your friends list leaderboard? Or are you below 100 on there too? Haha. On PC, there's (stuuuupid) 100 friends limit, so you'd never go below 100 on the friends list.
