I think the nerf was Decoy used to distract more enemy types.  Now only a select few will focus on it, such as Phantoms, but Geth as a whole are all dumb enough to prioritize it still.

Yep, Bioware nerfed the pets in a balance change to make them not attracting anymore "melee" enemies, such as Banshees.

I didn't have any issue with that nerf


....although I miss seeing those Brutes hypnotized by Combat Drones like they were big ol teddy bears.

Agreed, hypnotizing two Banshees with a drone was OP.

Agreed, especially on the second one. Saber Quarksman is "l2popmelons or die".

That kit likely teaches you more about soft cover placement, movement and target prioritization than any other in the game. The only reason I wouldn't say it is the best for learning the game overall is because you learn practically nothing about how powers interact with each other, but you hardly need to when in this game weapons rule all and "the best advanced battlefield strategy is to have more bullets than the other guy."
