Rain of Arrows and Arrow Storm sound kinda similar. Both sound awesome!

I'd think that Arrow Storm would be an upgrade for Rain of Arrows, tbh.

adding some 5v5 battlegrounds was my hope before the game was effectively killed.

a battelground wouldnt be likely to get any players unless they restriced everone to base character models and equipment only, the game is far to reliant on gear progression and unless everyone has equal gear /promotions its not fun to play a laughter fest.

its one of hte few things games like cod have going for them, everyone has exactly the same gear with each upgrade effectivly adding nothing to survivability, everyone can be shot and killed with every gun and all it requires is a spot of luck, a new player can start playing today and be just as good or bad at playing as a guy with a few thousand hours the only difference being the customisations, the perks you unlock add tiny fractions of enhancement, carry an extra mag or grenade, fit you gun with a better sight or a suppressor (reduces stopping power and still lights you up on the mini map when you score a kill) silent movement or movement speed don't change the amount you get detected on the minimap...

much as i love a lot of bioware games that's not the sort of "balance" they bring to things

I recognize few of those from DA:O / DA2. Sounds like they were intended for this game as well but for some reason were scrapped.
