I was thinking about upgrading from 8.1, especially as ME2 (my favorite in the series) has refused to start ever since MS forced me to upgrade from 8.0. Not sure if 10 will work any better, but it can't get any worse unless of course 10 won't play ME3 either. So has anyone been nuking spawns on Win 10 yet?
(Suffice to say I did try just about every remedy for ME2, although I unfortunately ran the notorious config file during my initial troubleshooting process, which breaks the game even more.)
Mods: Not trying to derail this into a tech support thread, but please move if needed.
Has anyone successfully played on Windows 10 yet?

If, and only if, your situation is that dire, I would suggest to go for it.
Windows 10 isn't yet... stable. For the 90% of people loving every bit of it, there is the 10% of us with some persistent problems and some hiccups (audio, start menu unresponsive, other irksome bugs), but the situation is getting better. I'm waiting for the big update next year (the equivalent, more o less, of the famous Service Pack), to decide if windows 10 is worth it, and I should commit every PC I own to it.
Anyway, at the moment I would suggest to go for it... knowing that some problem may arise.

It runs even better on Windows 10 because of WDDM 2.0

The trilogy runs as good as ever since I upgraded to Windows 10. As Dabal Hayat mentioned above, not all upgrades go seamlessly.
I think I had some kind of audio issue after moving from Windows 7 to 10, but I resolved it. I would also recommend if you go Windows 10 route to set updates to notification rather than automatic. I ran into an issue where Windows was updating in the background and either I closed my laptop or Windows hibernated and my BCD boot file got corrupted. Easy enough to fix, but took some time away from the work I was going to do.
Just create a Media Creation Tool and make sure your boot order will call for either an optical media or USB drive prior to the main HDD, in case you run into update issues.

Windows 10 is a problem by itself. So there's your problem.

The real burning question is, has anybody played ME3 on Windows 95 yet?

Windows 10 is fine, just be sure to do the custom installation and uncheck every optional product and/or service.
Once you are done, do some digging into the Services tab and disable Superfetch, and Windows Search (which is the new name for prefetching and indexing). This is especially important if you have an SSD. Lastly, click your Start Button, and tell Cortana to go stuff itself.

Windows 10 here. Just reinstalled 3 a few days ago and it ran totally fine. Had an issue with the game not starting due to phyx but it disappeared after I downloaded the latest phyx drivers off nvidia's website.

Real men just freaking remove entire components from the ISO and leave a sub 1GB install disk with no Cortana or other ****.

I just installed ME3 for N7 day on my new machine. I have no issues at all with Windows ten - I guess I am lucky. I had more trouble getting ME1 to run on my machine, believe it or not. I got ahold of the origin help desk and they got me fixed amazingly quickly.

No issues, except the whole NSA M$ spying thing and no control over driver updates that can crash your PC mid-game.

NO CTD, but a few isolated incidents of audio problems that did not persist.
However I took the time to update all my hardware drivers. There were some Motherboard OEM ones that were problematic in Win10 ( I just uninstalled them - most are 'nice' but not necessary).
I also hardened the PC as much as possible, to eliminate some of that excessive tracking.

Successfully, yes, and on 2 different machines. Although Flawless Widescreen works erratically according to the relation between its own updates and the nVidia driver's.
In truth, though, for ME3, the performance enhancements of Windows 10 make little difference compared to 8.1.

Yep. Even dragged SweetFX copy from old install directly into new ME3 folder and started playing with glorious visual enhancements. Win10 bundled nVidiot driver was a little bucky on first run but I took out a bigger hammer and cured that.

King's Quest VI ran like a dream on Windows 95. I'm sure Mass Effect 3 would be a snap.

I had been putting it off for months also. I don't like change either, but I was pretty happy with the upgrade. In fact, some of the minor issues I had been having in Win7 fixed themselves after upgrading.
One thing worth mentioning though is if you use Nvidia Shadowplay, you must install the 353.54 driver. Later drivers will work, but will break Shadowplay.

Must be an issue on your end because I am using the latest drivers and Shadowplay works fine.

Did you disable Win 10 GPU driver updating? WU version was seriously borked when it was released.
