Watches new vid.
Response to new vid:

goes back to waiting for Fallout 4.
The citadel has five "petals". The ship has four and they're way fatter. Next.
Pretty much. The design is obviously inspored by the Citadel, but it's obviouly NOT the Citadel. Nothing to see here
Why don't the Reapers use this marvelous method of travel?
Why is this ship in the trailer under standard propulsion rather than traveling through a mass effect corridor?
It would be pretty awesome if we actually could do that later in the game
Creating different settlements would certainly be interesting, and fun to do. Like making the camps in Inquisition, except larger.
Okay I could see it as a relic from the Krogan Rebellions or even the Rachni Wars.
Still doesn't explain the massively extended range
Well the Protheans figured out how to make a Relay, we know that a lot of data in the earth bound Prothean database was still being discovered, and that the Protheans under Javik intended to sleep for thousands of years until their power core was compromised in a Reaper attack. Put all that together and you have a reasonable explanation for the Arks extended range.
I don't think you realise how big a Galaxy is. If you're coasting through the empty space between galaxies, you would be able to see both the Milky Way and Andromeda, as shown in the trailer.
So chances are they saw the Crucible shockwave while they were travelling
Still no i think you don`t realize how big the space between galaxies is. The light from the shock waves will travel at lightspeed and 2.537.000 years will pass till it reaches Andromeda.
YAWN. I want something of substance.
wow that's a great argument here!
Spoiler
See my edit. You seem to be implying that the ship is The Citadel. It clearly isn't, although it looks to have been inspired by it.
But why not male shepard voice? why whyw hwy whywyw whywywhwy
Wait.... what's powering the mass effect that keeps you moving at FTL?
Nothing. Once in space there is no outside force acting against you. Once you get up to speed you will stay there. You only need enough power to get up to speed and then you can shut the power off. There will be no friction like driving on a road, and so long as no one applies the breaks then all you have to do is hope you hit nothing or don't get close to a sun or a black hole and deal with gravity acting against you.
Otherwise momentum alone will keep you going because there would literally be no outside force slowing you down.

Inversed sexism on display here! ![]()
Would the people in the ark have seen the light show going off in the Milky Way (red, blue, or green)?
They might have been asleep for it.
Unless they found a relay that links to Andromeda or a wormhole or something similar, the journey would take them at least a couple hundred years. Assuming the ship takes that long to get there, the crew would probably be put into cryosleep for the journey with a VI or AI monitoring the ship's functions. Cryosleep is already thing in the lore too, so I'd be surprised if that wasn't used if the trip takes a couple centuries.
Creating different settlements would certainly be interesting, and fun to do. Like making the camps in Inquisition, except larger.
Making camps in Inquisition was fun?
Why do you think the Reapers are omnipotent? The games have shown them to be quite inept.
Because they've also been shown to be quite advanced? Just a thought.

I completely ****** forgot how physics work for a second there and that it takes time for light/images to travel across space. My bad haha
Making camps in Inquisition was fun?
I didn't say that, I was making the comparison in that making the camps was basically your settlements in Inquisition.
Okay then
1) They didn't need to. Or more specifically, they never expected to have their access to the Citadel relay blocked off, so there was no need to explore contingencies
2) Well, I said that it would have to relays, one on the front, the other on the back, to create the corridor. I'm guessing that would be enough for the corridor to extend a little bit in front and behind the the ship
3) A ship not moving in normal space will still not be moving in mass-free space, i.e. they need propulsion to actually travel
4) No further sequels in the Shepard trilogy were planned, not further sequels, full stop. Anyway, I thought I'd mention it as an interesting possiblity.
I didn't say that, I said making the camps was basically your settlements in Inquisition.
It was basically nothing in Inquisition.
It might have been something, when they had those pre-release vids at one point.

Erm, not really.
Knowing how to make a relay doesn't really help unless you can build a twin of it somewhere.
Power is less a concern than how to discharge that power safely. If the Protheans had overcome that problem, they probably would have built an Ark themselves.
I have another genius idea here dudes! Citadel + Crucible = fkton of energy! How can we travel to another galaxy? We must build the most powerful engine evah! How we do it? We should attach another crucible to the citadel! Ta-da! Genius! Bioware should hire me, pretty sure i'll be the best one among the writers!

Well, the light seems to ignore physics anyway, given it sweeps across worlds that don't even have relays in mere moments ![]()

Your opinion, I didn't mind it and in a way it showed that you were making progress and spreading the Inquisition's reach in an area.
