I don't care if it is the Rachni, the Hannar, Elcor just include all of them even the Geth. I don't give a crap if it breaks the Milkyway lore the trilogy is over already right? Why stop there BioWare? Please please include the Quarians too every race must be in the game since this is already a reboot of the franchise. If not... if you decide to make a carbon copy of them but modified in a way... meh
Include all RACES in Andromeda

You know in the new Trailer it kinda confirms the Ark Theory but my question is this if the Ark is an Alliance"Human" vessel how in the hell will we get Aliens onboard are there going to be Asari,Salarian,Turian,Krogan,Quarian,Drell,Batarian,Vorcha,Volus & Elcor in the Andromeda Galaxy?
This is a series that had Jacob explaining the Resurrection with.... "the best scientists money could buy".
I'm sure they'll contrive something.

Well we've seen Krogan in the conceptual prototype in the E3 2014 trailer, then at the end of the E3 2015 announce trailer, we see what appears to be a female Krogan. Quite possibly, various species have their own "ARKs" or we're all traveling in one giant space boat.

Well, batarians are spiteful assholes.
I like them... but I don't see why the galaxy would ever want to be in confined spaces with them.... at that time and point in the war. But whatever.

I'd watch Krogan NASCAR all day long. Instead of slapping at each other and crying after races, there'd be ryncol fueled shootouts and headbutts and stuff... Kinda like pre-NASCAR stock car racing.

I don't see a feasible scenario where anyone would allow the geth onto the ship.
That applies even after the Battle for Rannoch, but it's especially true for everything that happens prior to that.

The ship might be a Council vessel rather than Alliance. The speech in the trailer could just be for marketing, and might differ from the actual in-game dialogue. Or in 'we' Shepard could be addressing all the travellers, both human and alien, since none of the dialogue mentions anything that was necessarily specific to Earth or humans.

I don't have a problem with all races being represented, but it's more important that the races are given their individual quirks. Salarians in the original trilogy pretty much existed to be foils to the krogan, and had no other traits besides "SCIENCE!".
They don't have to be squadmates (Elcor might be tough to pull off), but they need to be distinct and about THEM, not just in relation to someone else.

i don't think the Ark vessel is only a human vessel. Devs confirmed some of the MW species in Andromeda before the reveal, and we saw a krogan (also, the leak). And we saw a krogan in the reveal trailer.
I wouldn't have many hopes of seeing every MW species in Andromeda though.

I only want a few Milky Way species in ME:A. I want a balance between new and old. No need to bring back every Milky Way specie.
I agree, mostly, but you know that doesn't require any of the races to be left behind...they just don't have to be at the forefront of MEA. Better if the writers leave themselves maximum options down the road. If certain races don't end up being used, no big deal because it won't be because "damn, we should have included Race X...they'd have been perfect for this or that story arc."

I agree. Bring all the Milky Way species, but if they aren't pertinent to the story than simply keep them in the background until they can be used for story purposes and/or MP characters. A tiny codex entry stating that Species X made the trip to Andromeda and is now setting up colonies somewhere within the star cluster is all that is needed. Not only does this give the writers maximum options for bringing in a returning species down the line, but it also keeps the setting as varied as possible.
As much as I would like to see BioWare bring new aliens to the game, their track record isn't the best when it comes to adding in new 'alien' elements to an existing franchise. Sure the Drell and Protheans were added in, but they weren't nearly as alien as the ME 1 take on the Rachni, Thorian, Hanar, etc.

I don't get why people say this?
It's not like we got to see many if the original alien races. We saw like a grand total of 5 hanhar, 8 elcor, 3 drell, less than 10 volas, 2 female turian, 1 female krogan and 1 female salarian. If the old races aren't brought back, they totally got shafted in the original trilogy. I for one was hoping we would get more of them, and less humanity.
But nope.
Seems like even more humans, and a brand new batch of aliens to be background characters and sidekicks......just in a brand new universe!

Geth hardly need an invitation, they can smuggle themselves in loaded on laptops ![]()
Geth race is highly popular, heck, more people saved them versus Quarians in ME3. I don't see Bioware letting them slip

The Rachni need to make the trip most of all (IMO). They were one of the last 'alien' aliens by the time of the trilogy's conclusion, and the writers missed a real good opportunity to explore a species that was radically different than us, but that was still willing to work with us. That, and they already fit the "bug aliens" trope so there would be no reason to get rid of them only to have another insectoid species in Andromeda.
Speaking of which, that is going to be one of the biggest gripes I will have with ME:A if any of the species get left behind only to be replaced with their Andromeda counterpart. I would like to see more of the Rachni's, Batarian's, Hanar's, and Elcor's stories; I don't want to arrive in the new galaxy only to be greeted by a re-tread of old troupes and character arcs with the Not-Rachni, or Not-Batarians.
