All though I've played the SP campaign since the initial release of ME1, I've never been part of the N7 MP events. I also see a lot of newcomers in PUGs with fresh manifests bringing the vanilla kits into action.

 

So all you vets out there feel free to share some anecdotes about the glory days of Biovar events and characters/weapons before they were nerfed or buffed.

Had some good games today (most with pugs, they didn't go for the N7 theme), with Destroyer. And some non-themed character ones.

Maybe next year, we'll have some old(er)-timer stories to tell, eh?

Ah, the good old days....

 

I remember when we actually wanted the Collectors in the game. "Oh God, I take it baaaaaaaack!"

I remember when the Geth Prime's drone did nothing. It was just a pretty little ornament. So pretty.

 

I remember when the Krysae was fun. Then, it wasn't. Then, it was. Then, it wasn't.

 

I remember when the Eagle sucked.

 

I remember my first Bronze solo and how nervous I was. It's probably a lot more difficult now.

Pre-nerf Typhoon and Krysae--awesome destruction!   Still not bad I guess.    That little room they blocked off on Glacier at the top of the ramp.  People didn't just camp there--they actually had a lease.
