Hi everyone,
Just wanted to get a quick message out there for the developers of ME about my experiences of the Story line - I'll try to keep it spoiler free as much as humanly possible.

First of all, when I finished the quest I just needed to stop playing for a while - it affected me that much!
Having an Autistic Spectrum disorder myself I could empathise with the VI (I felt absolutely horrible after seeing what I saw), and the way that this thought experiment was run through was very well done.  I just wanted to compliment the Developers on the atmosphere and the handling of the subject matter.

Seriously if anybody hasn't got this already go get it!

Hope I haven't given anything too much away because seriously, this DLC is worth every penny!

I must say I also enjoyed the story. I like how it keeps us in the dark about what's what the entire time and there's this slow build-up until the big reveal. The atmosphere is great and the music compliments it nicely. I've never been a big fan of the Hammerhead but the beautifully designed areas sort of make up for it. The end was truly upsetting, in the good way. I've played quite a few games, some of which were pretty brutal, so making me go, "Oh my god," is quite a feat. That was totally unexpected and surprisingly dark (Not complaining.), especially because of how innocent the victim was and how inhuman the deed was. I so felt like shooting the one responsible, and that comes from a person that likes to be diplomatic and prefers arresting people to killing them whenever possible. Let's just say that you know you seriously screwed up when even the paragon interrupt results in hitting you.  :D Glad it does, too; I was so mad I clicked it by reflex.

The end of the DLC is all that saves it for me. What is done to David is genuinely heartbreaking.

However the rest of the DLC I found to be just another set of chest high walls and dull Hammerhead action.

I see Project Overload as the peak in Mass Effect's writing, such a good story, and sad as well. It felt good to release David from that torture, and nail his brother in the face.

I really like Overlord's bigger "feel", more like the first game. And I think the story, while not connected to the main Mass Effect 2 narrative, is very important for understanding some of the things in Mass Effect 3.

I'm going to say it: I refuse to believe people actually took their togglers/mouse pointers/whatevers into giving someone like poor David back to Cerberus.

Like, that happy little moment that he THANKS you for adding years to his life, that he COUNTED, when you go to Grissom Academy in ME3....Gosh...

We saved a gifted but victimized kid. Damn. Faror, I'm jsut...I'm gonna virtually hug you now. IDK.
