Could I request, Bioware, that you please don't put anything like the Harlequin Tag side quest from DA:I in anything that you make, ever, ever again.

Sorry to veer into a different franchise, but my inner completionist has just compelled me to spend the best part of a very tedious hour trying to catch one of those wretched things. Quite possibly the exact opposite of fun.

It's a particularly annoying side quest in the Trespasser DLC.

In the Winter Palace there are about 5 characters dressed, for some reason, in Harlequin outfits that randomly appear at certain locations in the map. You're supposed to sneak up behind to 'tag' them which earns you a dexterity boost (by some video game logic) and a schematic. However, if you walk up to them at the wrong angle, or too fast, or too slow, or brush against an obstacle, or do so much as pass gas in real life, they will immediately vanish and reset.

People ****** about the shards, but at least they didn't teleport away after you'd spent 30 minutes stalking one. I can just see the Mass Effect version - collect 20 teleporting Pyjaks for a new pistol... Ugh!

I don't disagree that sex sells, but I'd prefer more actual sex scenes to creepily rendered banshee/robot genitalia. If they're going to go that route then why not floppy husk dong?

Thinking about it, Humanity doesn't need Cerberus at all...

In 30 years, they are the top race in the Milky Way.

Reapers aside, if they had 30 more years, they probably killed all the other races (exept the Asari who would probably be put in slavery).

What I don't want to see in Mass Effect Andromeda:

 

Forced in-game cultural Marxism based on some out-of-game SJW agenda.  The game SHOULD tackle with realistic issues such as sexism, racism, and other real world issues.  This would make it more believable and down-to-earth.  What I don't want to see is everyone being loved and accepted for who they are because the writers can't stomach seeing their self-inserts being prejudiced against in their own little fantasy lands.  This would offer more dynamics to character interaction other than

or

Aliens Getting Drunk; Hahaha, So Funny Because it's Exactly What Happens When Humans Get Drunk, only with a TWEEST

 

Speaking of twists, I also don't want to see a twist in the ending or any other bull**** like SPECULATION FOR EVERYONE as seen in the ME 3 ending.  You know what good writers do to make things interesting in the plot?  They put the twist BEFORE The ending and then wrap up the story nice and neat afterwards.  That's what happened in Jade Empire and KOTOR and ME 1 (to some extent) and it worked perfectly.  Chances are, if the twist happens during the ending it's one of two things: It's either an M. Night Shyamalan movie or an M. Night Shyamalan movie. 

 

Last but certainly not least (and so help me God I will rain hell fire down on this forum if this happens) I do not want to see what Bioware pulled in Dragon Age Inquisition.   Putting all the focus on multiplayer by giving players all the unique outfits while basically making the SP an afterthought in terms of patches, updates, DLC, and of course, outfits.  But who am I kidding, ever since EA acquired Bioware, they've been focusing more and more on MP with each and every new game.  Coincidence?  Not a chance.

Huge open spaces with nothing interesting to see or do. If I have to drive the mako around for 5 minutes to reach some NPC and then drive the same way back and nothing happens inbetween you might as well just cut it and put a loading screen there. 

 

I also really don't want the mako to return, I hated it.
