I DO NOT want to see The Hierophant in ME:A Multiplayer...

No objections from over here.

Me going full Leeroy Jenkins while singing Little Richard's "Long Tall Sally" is not a good look. Depending on the mood i sometimes sing this on my kill streaks...

Just don't want it to become a MMORPG with micro transactions or the multiplayer have any effect on the single player.

Being told you have a drinking problem. Just because i have 4,5 11, 30 drinks don't make me no alcoholic.

Do what I do and keep a big stock of booze. Alcholics need alcohol and as long as I am well supplied I don't need any as I already have plenty.

Need alcohol?

Nope, I got plenty.

See since you don't need it you are not an alcoholic, since they need alcohol.

Your fear of losing is understandable. Volus are the next master race after humanity.

I'd rather not see continuous references to Shepard and the old games.  I'd like it to be as stand alone as possible, with as little previous knowledge necessary as possible.  The secondary goal being avoiding infodumps.

Dialogue interrupts. I hated those.

Didn't care for these either, wouldn't mind them disappearing.

That weird delayed death animation they introduced in DaI. I just hate it when I kill the last mob of the group, it turns transparent blue and wanders somewhere far away and then dies.

I don't want to see a few things in Mass Effect: Andromeda

  • No pointless, filler side quests and "Power" system-  In DAI, there was a myriad of pointless little sidequests that were essentially made mandatory to finish in order to gain enough power to unlock the next part of the main story.   I don't want to see this again.  It hampered the pacing of the Dragon Age storyline, drowned out more meaningful content, and served little purpose beyond making the game seem longer than it was.

  • Pointless Exploration-  I'm fine with exploration if it serves a direct purpose to the narrative of the game, and it feels fun to do.  Exploring in Dragon Age: Inquisition was a chore, in my opinion, and I would prefer to see Mass Effect move Bioware back in the direction of Mass Effect 1/2 and Dragon Age Origins/II, where there was a world to explore but it was focused and dense with content.  Keep the focus on the story and the characters, that is Bioware's strength and its the areas where Mass Effect excelled.

Ultimately, those are major desires for the next Mass Effect game.  Unfortunately, it appears Bioware is sticking with the structure that it built for DAI and abandoning the more guided and structured styles of previous Dragon Age and Mass Effect titles ( and even games like Kotor and Jade Empire).  Hopefully, they learn their lesson and minimize the filler and beef up the main story and character content.

1) Politically correct nonsense.

2) Pointless filler fetch quest.

3) Weak plot. Terrible ending.

4) Sync-kills. Off host lag issues.

5) On disc day 1 DLC. No single player micro-transactions.

6) 30fps lock on PC. I want to be able to play at 60fps on the Master Race platform, screw peasantry crap.

Um don't roll with a necromancer if you don't want bad guys to turn into ghosts when they die?

Intentional ones or unintentional?

Nothing wrong with either but there is a difference between too lazy to shave daily and groomed for a specific style that includes side burns. Though I say if going for side burns add a handlebar mustache.

Actually, it wasn't really a serious question. I was just looking for an excuse to post something from Papers, Please. Also, I can't even grow sideburns. :(

i don't want an inquisition clone in the me universe.

look ... i get that a lot of people liked inquisition and i get that maybe i'm just crazy and all that ... but i loathed inquisition even though i love the dragon age series.

the game is not bad ... it's a great gem of a game ... it's just buried under piles and piles ... no, correction ... mountains and mountains of crapware.

yeah, yeah ... i get that it has tons of content and so on ... but copy/pasting the same fetchquest over and over again and just changing what you need to collect ... that's not proper content. that's just lazy and boring and repetitive.

i'd rather have a 10 hour game where every single mission is interesting and worth something as oppose to a 80 hour game where 80% of it is made up of crap like that.

and if you're gonna do that anyway ... at least LET ME SKIP the damn fetch quests. don't force me to grind them just so i can achieve an artificial rank so i can continue the main story. an artificial rank that does absolutely nothing. that rank it didn't matter at all.

the reason i'm saying this is because once you start pulling that crap in games then you notice it's easy to make 80 hour long games and why not do it with the next game as well, right ?

with that in mind ... focus more on quality content that quantity. my opinion anyways ...

as i said ... i'd rather have a 10 hours focused storyline than 80 hours of random, useless encounters and fetch quests. this isn't world of warcraft.

This so much.  I'm currently playing through Star Wars: The Old Republic right now, and the fact that this MMO has more interactive fetch quests, with fully voiced conversation segments, than Dragon Age: Inquisition is quite sad. Bioware chose quantity over quality with DAI and it is very apparent with the excessive amount of pointless side content that is only there to pad out the game and to justify their open world areas. What happened as result is that they drowned out their main story, and made the narrative and characters less of a focus as they should have been. I would much rather have a Dragon Age 2, where there is an abundance of main story content, interactive side quests with choices and conversations, and significant amount of character-related content, than another DAI.

The more i hear, i see the words exploration which make me fear that nothing was learned from DAI. Pleeeaase limit the empty mmo style quests,  go here kill that, pick up this, find this thing.

If it is a beautiful, big, empty world like DAI i hope it will atleast show in reviews.

I DON'T want to see more getting stuck behind cover when trying to run. Seriously it was a huge problem in all 3 previous games. That is literally my only complaint for such an awesome series.

Characters that are walking PSA commercials with their interactions *Looks at Dorian and Krem* I guess that ties with being too overly PC, but I digress.
