At least the ship, the Ark has a very different ship design than the normal ships built by the Citadel species.  The separate Drivecore's should allow a safer disscharge in space without cooking the crew after a long journey.

 

I wonder how big that thing is... Citadel size?

 

It would have to be big to bring millions of people and materials needed for the journey and for use upon arrival.

Sad that the N7 day page on Bioware still looks like ME3 throwback. Is there anywhere to see ME 4 stuff (apart from here) and somewhere to download videos?
