[The NightMan Cometh]

What have you encountered on your N7 Day of pugging? What madness have your eyes witnessed today? I am interested to see what my fellow BSNr's have been apart of on this glorious November 7th.

 

 

I will start.

 

 

I have now witnessed something I have never before seen..the almighty Spitfire Justicar.

A decent N7 & CP holder entered my lobby with this setup......was a spitfire 7....I assume they didn't spec into bubble cuz I never saw one...was funny to watch her attempt to run around...They did score pretty high...around 90k.

 

Promoted the Adepts cuz I got's me no respec cards ( plus I hate the fact 1 respec only resets 1 character)  was using a level 12 vanilla asari dept w tempest ( dont you judge me, challenge points yo' )...had 2 vote kicks on me...they readied up cuz it took too long 2 actually kick me ...I did alright..about 95k..finished 2nd.. I have really never promoted then gone right into Gold with characters in the past...normally I would solo till they got up to around levels 15...just my weird old routine...then the host sent me a msg saying how awful i am & that because of my N7 & challenge point #'s that I must have hacked to get them to where they are ( this is on xbox by the way) and then he proceeded to brag how much higher a score he had than me...He was using a level 20 BatSol w Harrier 10 & Nade Pacity 5......my poor level 12 asari dept & her tempest's feelins gotz sum hurtz.......sad panda

 

 

 

Anyway's..tell me about some of your guy's matches today....

I've been working and having a conversation with some friends about getting together to set up a marijuana cafe here. Canada has a new Prime Minister and part of his platform was legalization. Once that hits we want to be up and running. Pretty interesting, and after our conversation I'm pretty stoked. Got a decent chef for edibles too.

 

No ME3MP pour moi.

 

Although when I get home I might put a few games in. We'll see. Rebel Galaxy still has space pirates to kill though...

I dropped into a lobby with ehlien.  He/she was sporting a Bioware banner and was using a Fury.  Got disconnected on Wave 5 though.

Nothing really strange or unusual. No more or less low N7/CP scores then there have been lately anyways. Though I did have a PUG ask how he could get the N7 day banner, as me and one other PUG were sporting it, and if they still came with an item pack.

I put on my Loyalist Banner but I only played 2 matches.  They both went pretty smoothly - joined up with 2 Juggs & a Volus.  I haven't played in months so, on the whole I'd say it worked out just fine.

I played with other scrub bsners. It was fun. My galactic readiness is up to 60% now.

I bought a game two months ago and I'm pugging a lot because I'm lacking friends, so I consider my self to be one of the PUGs you all hate. 

I learned objectives and extraction mechanics in my first game, so I'm not making these mistakes at least. Anyway...

​I was doing my sniper rifle challenge and I needed around 20k points with Raptor; one fast silver game should do it.

I was thrown in Reactor, Collectors lobby with three very low N7 and CP PUGs. Game was pretty decent until extraction; we were at the opposite side from LZ and as soon as wave started all but me were sprinting to the LZ and started camping, wasting rockets and dying. Of course all of them bled out and I waltzed to the LZ.

I was kicked as soon as we were in the lobby.

This is the first time I was kicked.

Just had back-to-back Jade/Geth while searching for UUG... And naturally had some epic w11 spawn nuking by a few of the PUGs. But the highlight of my N7 Day definitely was doing games for the N7 Day Event with XAN1_95, mexximal, and upper-reality earlier- good work N7s.

Dude, oh, dude, oh dude.. I wish I could record my matches.....

 

Me.. FQI w Black Widow on Hydra vs Cerberus.....I had at least 30 revives.....gimme the medal..I was accused of hacking cuz how fast I wasted Atlases...  Drill rounds 3 is a mystery.......(xbox feelsbadman dayz) 

 

Hosted a Slayer vs Rippaz...ended up on Giant.. (of course)  I kept gang-banging Brutes..you know I did...Kept charging Banshees.....there was a Salarian with a Wraith that actually kept pace w me..I will insert their gamertag here..later..2drunk 2 recall..

 

I am really,really drunk..but I do remember a match on Condor.. I cant remember what character I was or what faction we faced..but I remember Condor...

 

 

Edit: Drunked Recall just kicked in.. Condor..was me as a Salarian Engee w a Scorpion vs Collectors...that really sucked...I remember there was a Destroyer w a Shuriken and an off-host Asari VanGuard w a scimitar...good,...not really...bad times..

I only had time for a couple of games, but I had the good fortune to run into TMB in a very glitchy GiP on Hydra.  He was the only other player showing on my Killfeed, but there was apparently a host hiding off the map too. It's fair to say he got lucky with his pugs - two BatSols on a bit of a rampage, despite silent or invisible Banshees, invisible objectives and no timers for me.  The only remotely hairy moment was when I was left alone on wave 8 when an aforementioned Banshee synced TMB and I had to stand around waiting on one of the ramps wondering where the hell she was. But then I got to kill her with fire. 

 

A very fitting N7 Day experience - the best of teammates and the worst of teammates, along with typical glitchy BS.  I still love this game as much as ever, although I may have been energized somewhat by the sound of Jennifer Hale's voice yesterday.

Yesterday's pugs were actually surprisingly good. Granted, in 80% or so of the games I played yesterday I had at least one buddy in lobby but even the games that were purely pick up games were outstanding.

 

No leeches, everyone helping around, biotic and tech synergies, heavy melees. Good times.

 

Only low point in yesterday's series of games was when a TGI host rage quit on wave 10 AFTER a very difficult FB Jade devices (yes including that notorious middle device) because he went down a lot in the early waves, rage gelled, ran out by like wave 3 and spent waves 7,8 and 10 spectating. Was kinda aggravating to have to repeat wave 10 but the full set of consumables and the fact the TGI was replaced with a very good BW QFI balanced out the suck. I ain't even mad.

A very fitting N7 Day experience - the best of teammates and the worst of teammates, along with typical glitchy BS. 

I'll second that for my day. Had some nice teams and fast games, along with non-mission-doers in others.

Mostly watched my husband play some really fun looking games with his teammates; those geth got massacred.

 

Watching and hearing them all having so much fun, laughing at the over-glorified toasters turn into goo almost effortlessly, makes me want to learn to play more characters myself, and to improve on the current ones.

I pugged with a guy yesterday and I'm pretty sure he might have been a BSNer. They had a tsol bpp... but even more so, he missiled swarmers. IN BETWEEN waves. I was laughing my ass off.
